the only thing that sucks imo is the pre order bonuses are ONE TIME only, its screwed a few people who just loaded all the pre order bonuses into their game and are doing a 100% stealth run, which means you loaded in a bunch of bonus pre order guns you will never use. On your second play through, any bonus items you loaded into the first play through are gone. The SP game is definitely not p2w, just like every assassin's creed game sure you can be the idiot whale and "buy" credits and Praxis points ahead of time but there is literally no reason to, the game is designed around progression without any of that.
The more funky thing is Breach, thats the game mode that has you "hack in VR" (basically just fight robots in pre designed levels) and is totally set up for p2w with consumables like boost cards you can use every level and are one time use only. Right now you can't "buy" them on the PSN store, but I am sure its only a matter of time since they are obviously structured to be p2w. Still, Breach is completely optional so if it helps SE make enough money to want to make more sequels I am fine with that. Contrast that with Hitman, which has zero p2w things, is episodic, a really fun game, but will probably be a financial disaster.
Only two things i don't like about the PS4 version: load times on save scum reloads are terrible in open world areas, like 20-30 seconds. And I've save scummed a lot, especially right before "hacking" doors and stuff since my skill level is shit I fail a lot. Load times were fast on the actual first level though, like 5-10 seconds. Second thing is the platinum trophy, unfortunately it seems to be tied to completing the game on the hardest difficulty, which is basically Nightmare mode - if you die, your game is over. I'm not sure I could finish the game in that mode, so kinda puts the plat out of reach
