I can't imagine any of the talented devs that Blizzard once employed still work there anymore. They saw what people at Rockstar, Sony Santa Monica, Insomniac, CDPR, From, Naughty Dog, Guerilla Games etc are working on - creating interesting games, some absolute masterpieces and thought... nah, I'll sit here and spend 12 months creating a new skin for overwatch... or I'll work on the tier armor for WOW's shittiest expansion ever... or wait I got it! how about some fucking cereal WITH THE LOOT CODES IN THE BOX! The studio is dead, it's a hollow husk - tell me one thing they've done this past 2 years that couldn't have been done by a team of interns and contract programmers? One thing? Wow Classic? Interns. New skins and heroes for OW? Interns. Diablo mobile? Reskin with slight variation to already done chinese developed mobile games. BFA? Clearly the work on blizzards interns (at best). Unless they have something massive, brilliant, revolutionary hidden under wraps that all of their "talent" is working on, you have to wonder just wtf they do over there all day.
Playing RDR2, GOW etc and then watching this train wreck it's obvious, very quickly, where the talent in this industry works and it doesn't work at Blizzard. They have some of the best, well-known IP in the entire entertainment industry and they can't come up with a single fun, decent idea. Think of the possibilities! /diablomobile
