They have that game it's called diablo2. Devs can't fucking win either the game isn't close enough to its prior self or it's redundant cod derivative bullshit. That's the problem with their forums. They can't please everyone.

I dunno man, the devs that are cranking out cod derivative bullshit seem to do well for themselves. Well, their companies are doing well at least.
I think the general rule is that if you have a successfulfranchisethen stick to what made it beloved. Innovate minimally, have a decent story and update the graphics/whatever and everyone will be happy. Think more Bioshock Infinite (it sure wasn't innovative by any metric!) and less about trying to change things for the sake of change.
Now, forums are forums of course and there will be bitching regardless but that's to be expected.
I don't have an answer, it was just an observation. They end up with the homer-mobile after a few years of constant changes and I usually just uninstall and play something else.
The shame i feel for buying the console version knows no bounds.

Yeah depends on the class, there's bargain guides. Best to learn what amounts of each stat you need and plug purchasing into the calculators.
You can spend a ton of money and not be very good or you can buy smart and learn how to make up for stats in other places and become very effective for not an insane amount.

Ugh, that all sounds like a lot of work for a cartoony Diablo-lite ARPG that sucks major donkey shaft.

However it doesnt work with battle.net and mods IIRC, so last time I just made it run in windowed and changed the window size, not ideal, but at least it's not so tiny.

I was hoping I did that. SC2 was close to SC1 for me and Diablo 2 getting that facelift in D3 instead would've been fine with me. But eh, that's spilt milk, here's hoping that their second attempt is what I was looking for.

Steady stream of upgrades i get and most of them from crafting is making the game much more enjoyable on consoles than it was on PC, but i'm still on the first playthrough. We will see if it continues.

I loaded up D3 just to see since I couldn't remember...I was able to solo act 4 with ease, nothing ever came unfrozen (didn't try bosses). After doing some quick research looks like I am slightly under in some stats to make MP10 crazy easy.
For example they recommend:
2.73-3.01 APS (I have 2.69)
55% crit chance (I have 51.5%)
5500+ armor ( I have 4579)
40k+ hp (I have 36k)
but, everything else they recommend I am pretty far above, so unless I am missing something it seems I could help out.
