They really need to add more elemental types of damage to all classes. It really sucks that most classes only have 1-2 viable elemental options. A prime example of this are the WotHF runes, "Hands of Lightning" and "Blazing Fists". You'd think that they'd be lightning and fire, respectively. Nope, both are physical.
Monks and Wizards are probably in the best spot with 3+ "viable" options for elemental damage/builds, but other classes get completely screwed.
EDIT: To Crone's point, loot 2.0 really made it to where you build around certain gear, rather than gearing around a certain build. It's a lot more akin to D2 now. It's a better system for certain classes, but some gear is absolutely worthless for other classes, due to my above point.
