Yeah. The green set version belongs in the helltooth set and is fucking useless. The regular orange legendary Mask of Jeram is a build-defining item for zookie builds. I got lucky amd got 100% pet dmg one from kadala a couple weeks ago.

Everything that has a special ability gets a spot in my stash. For all the others, every few days I do a pass over all my chars to check if there's upgrades for them in the stash and then salvage everything else. Got all classes beside barb almost geared up.

I was keeping a very large stash and then re-evaluated my life. Why do I need my level 60 1400 DPS Skorn? My crusader at 45 already had a 2000 DPS 1-hander. Sharded. Along with all the random shit-ass legendaries I was saving for other characters.

Would save more if it weren't for main stat problems. Would rebalancing even be that hard if you removed main stats from gear? Just lower mob damage and health accordingly. And it would have the bonus of making main stat where you could still get it(passives, sockets, buffs) that much more powerful because you don't have 10000 already.

I agree. Rebalance IAS, CD, CHC and ED. Load us up with a ton more secondary affixes. An ideal item should be one where I dgaf about the DPS stats and instead am trying to get max extend gold/orb grab range and shit.

Vanilla was on sale for $20 leading up to RoS release, so you might see it on sale again sometime.
Only main stat because you get it on every piece of gear, it's not a choice anymore. Now, it could be argues that within the subset of gear that you can roll CC and/or CD, you get those stats too, so it's just as bad. In that case, I think those "must have stats" need to be toned down. I think they, probably accidentally, hit a sweet spot with the relative power levels of IAS and CDR. If they can do that for CC, CD, and ED as well, that would be pretty cool.
They should give 2 handers a guaranteed socket with a chance to roll another socket or at least an innate crit damage modifier so people will actually use half of the items the dev team worked SO SUPER hard to design.
I purchased the vanilla game and RoS through the Battle.net website two weeks ago and was prepared to take the $80 hit. Once I added both to my cart though it offered me a bundle price of both for $59.99. The bundle price wasnt listed anywhere on the site, it just popped up once I was ready to buy, so maybe give that a try if $60 for both is more manageable.

It's because they are designed with Crusaders in mind that can use 2H as a 1H. So it ends up fucking all the other classes because 2H's just suck compared to a 1H and Offhand.
Also, someone explain to me why my Source (as a Wizard) can't have a green crit gem in it, instead I have to use Orange Int. It's my source of magic isn't it? It's where the WD gets their Mojo...
