I wouldn't be playing if a couple of the seasonal items didn't look interesting.
I guess the real question is then is the guy asking about class balance going to try and poop sock his way to fame in the leader boards with a static 4 man team or is he going to play the game to just have a good time. The difference between most of the classes is minimal and the spread between all classes at GRift solo is 48-52 and honestly, at that point it's about luck. If you aren't going to try and break some group records then all the classes can do things just fine as long as you aren't retarded.
The reason I mentioned T6 is because that's where your farm comes from. If you can farm it well then you can get gear you need for GRifts.

I did my sorting of S1 crap and deleted the character. So I guess I'm ready for S2.
I'm way behind on meta. What is the lazy man's path to mediocre success in S2? Still praying for M6 drops on a DH? Any tricks for the leveling and M6 seeking portion of the character build?

As far as I know the leveling is still cram out bounties unless someone finds a random quest that can be abused again.
The best way I found for getting sets is running GRifts and tanking the trial so you can finish 3-4 GRifts in the same time it would take you to do the max level one you can do. Bloodshards has been the best way for me in getting set items but others mileage may vary. That or run with 3 other people of the same class and trade set drops.

Someone posted an exploit on the Diablo sub about repeating a quest but it requires either a friend or multi box. 1-70 in 3 hours.

Did they also up the drop rate on ramalamadingdongs when they adjusted some drop rates? I got 2 fairly quickly when I started playing again, now with one left I'm kinda leery if I should use it on this ancient windforce, or save it in case something better comes around.

The so called "questing" system that they added to this game has been abused pretty much nonstop since the game was released. It got even easier with the bounty system. I know the tried to adjust them some and are still trying to adjust them some for Season 2 but at this point these assclowns should just make it so that the only thing that rewards XP is monster kills.
That being said 1-70 isn't even that hard leveling the normal ways. It's just tedious since nothing really matters until Max level in D3, which is more shitty design. D2 you didn't even need to grind up to 99 to get the game to start since once you were level 50ish you could do pretty much anything. Unless the exploits are far and away better for getting to 70 I think I am going to avoid mind numbing repeat of one quest this go around, although they said they fixed the freebie bounties like they were in Season 1.
The ancient RNG on top of current RNG is probably going to suck balls. From what I can tell it seems like it's ancient weapon or bust and everything else is just a few extra stats of who gives a shit. You can get ancient everything but if you didn't get a top tier ancient weapon you are never going to be in the running for GRifts. That said, I think I agree with most of the others... This will be fun for a good couple of weeks gearing up and fucking around and then it will get tedious again before we know it.

Goddamnit. I was freeing up character slots for S2 and stripped and deleted my barbarian from S1. However, I forgot to take the items off my follower and vaporized a Unity, an immortality talisman, and a bunch of other stuff. Be careful, guys. =(
