This. T4 is probably too high for efficiency without WW6. Stick with the difficulty where things insta-gib until you get your WW set.

Getting a set drop or shard gamble and seeing invokers is a deskflip moment when you need a set piece bad.
What are some decent amulets that I should be aiming for as a demon hunter? I'm mainly playing a multishot build.
Also the legendary gem choices confuse me. It seems 3 top choices for DHs are:
1. Trapped (movement speed aura)
2. Vengeance (+dmg with distance)
3. Powerful (+dmg after killing elite)
It seems 1+2 work directly against each other. You want to be far from your enemies to get more +dmg but trapped gem only works if they get near you. What am I missing?
I'm leaning more towards the enforcer gem (1200% bleed damage after a crit) but do these things stack? Or does it just get reset when it procs again. Any thoughts?

By immunity you mean something like maras? So crafted yellow ammys are not useful then?
I'm guessing the poison one doesn't stack either? What happens if you keep critting and applying the bleed buff..could you theoretically not even get a single tick off?

Yellows are fine for amulets until you find a legendary that rolls at least almost as well and has a useful secondary affix.
Most dots don't stack. I believe there are exceptions like the firestarter rune for AC. It just resets the duration, you don't lose any damage. They hopefully learned their lesson from Deep Wounds and won't repeat that mistake.

I use Bane and Toxin in my rings but my ammy is so damn nice I don't think any of the other gems are worth rerolling for.

You really want to use 3 legendary gems. Reroll that crit chance for a socket. Bane of the trapped is amazing and you should be using it. Zeis/Pain Enhancer are also good.

Don't know if its still popular, but dh's were also using iceblink as a 3rd legendary gem so they didn't have to use polar station sentries. Bane of the Powerful isn't always up in higher rifts so you get the extra crit chance from iceblink and its a bit easier to not get hit with stuff extra slowed.
I use iceblink as my third in my slow ball build it's light years better than polar station. Just use MS maelstrom to keep it up when you refresh F/R.

Do adventure mode bounties to get rift fragments, do rifts because they have +100% unique/set drop rate, bump the difficulty to t1 for a chance to get greater rift keystone from the guardian. TP out of the trial to do it on lvl 1, kill the boss for gems into rings/amulets, if you want to get the most out of your single keystone, kill the Grift guardian with 4 minutes left so the keystone gets only +1 lvl and socket at least 2 that do damage (the smite one, toxic and aoe lightning are good at lvl 1) and you should be able to do t1 rifts easily. Then look up the best build on diablofans and keep on grinding, leveling gems and swearing at Kadala.

Good information from Zaphid. One small addition: you can kill the rift guardian any time after 4:30 left to get a +1 increase if you are trying to milk your greater rift key.
