Are souls resetting the legendary drop timer? In the past two days, I've picked up 12 souls and 2 legendary (Shit) items in ~9 hours played, most of it spent doing T2 rifts.

Don't forget to join the Rerolled community as well. I know in my clan there's usually 15ish on during the evening, but other times there might be no one. I'm sure I'm not the only one that prefers running with groups. It would be nice if the community actually functioned as intended. I usually only see 2 - 3 people in the chat channel.
I am not sure how it compares in the grand scheme of Amulet's for a monk, but I got a good drop yesterday. There is some debate on what to reforge or if I should just wait for a more permanent Amulet. I am not exactly swimming in forgotten souls.

The proc on this thing is terrible. Maybe they will fix it to proc before you get the massacre bonus pop up some how, maybe after killing X mobs. By the time I have gotten my massacre bonus I have killed all the mobs around me and the skeletons are worthless.
The crit damage is the only 'bad' roll. I was considering reforging that to see if I could get higher, but the swing would only be around 30%. One of my buddies suggested reforging the res all to try and get attack speed, which I hadn't considered. Alone, this amulet upped my damage by around 35%. I went from painfully being able to do T1 to being able to run it fairly well.
Overall, I have been trying to get my damage up, I had previously gone entirely toughness up to around 11m but had 185k damage. I have been trying to convert slowly. I am having trouble breaking away into a single resist type rather than res all. That is the current goal. I feel like I am wasting some stats on that end but it is a slow process.

The shitty part is you have to specifically turn ON community chats. I've invited a few people into more niche chats (E-Sim for Vorph and a few others) and I'm not even sure they know.
Is a quiver a decent item for DH? I got a really decent one in a double drop with a nice Triumvirate.

If an item is missing 2+ ideal stats, don't bother. For you, it's missing a secondary resist and it's missing +element%. And for an amulet specifically, considering legendary ones require gems to reroll, it should be the last amulet you want. For example, I don't plan on rerolling any of my legendary amulet until I get a Moonlight Ward.

If you want to reroll the amulet, the best choice by far would be to reroll the Res All into +elemental damage to your chosen element. To be honest I wouldn't bother, those are all fine attributes, and that amulet will never be perfect anyway (lowish crit damage, no single resist for OWE, wasted secondary stat on proc). Amulets are crazy expensive to reroll. You're better off saving those souls and gems for another slot or for when a "perfect" amulet drops (4 out of 5 elemental%/CD/CC/Dex/singleresist).

Saw this video regarding effective dps with lightning damage. Anyone else going this route opposed to the sheet dps? I know it's monk related but it does apply to other classes as well.

I was really hoping the changes to loot would mean people stop trying to find loopholes and focus on playing the game for loot. Stuff like that just gets loot drops from chests and breakables nerfed just like it did at release. Yay for the 1% pushing blizzard into negative changes, I guess.
That said, I think the expansion is the game I expected at release and I'm having fun and can see myself playing it on and off for years Even moreso if they implement some kind of low-cost patch cycle that adds some new build changers every now and then, which seems to be the plan.

I was in last night... hada full group though so wasn't using it. Will try to advertise more often. Usually if you have a group of 3 the mindset isn't let's find a 4th, but if someone wants to join they're free to.You just search Rerolled community and join, it's open to public. I botted in vanilla and I'm not proud of it - and I'm not even sure why I did it. I basically ran a gold farming bot all night, checked what gear i picked up as well and sold it. After awhile I just gave all the gold to my friend and quit.. game over.
I think botting in this expansion would be stupid. You can't trade/sell anything, so I don't understand the point. You'll be botting to get better gear to... bot more efficiently I guess.. or start playing the game? The way the difficulties work is great. Got shit gear? Run adventure mode on normal/hard/expert/master. Rares drop so fast in bounties and rifts that it's amazing. Eventually you'll be at T1. At that point, you can adjust the Torment level based on your gear. Most people are farming in T1 still I think, and I doubt that will change for awhile.
Doing chest runs is fine I guess, but then what? Will you suddenly want to start running the meat of the game now that you have gear?
I decided to level my wizard for awhile, was getting too depressed getting no good drops on my WD. Gained like 5 levels (44-49) in about 10 minutes in a pub bounty game. I have no idea how to spec it, but I enjoyed it.

I don't see the point of constsntly doing chest runs especially since the game practically rains loot on you. I enjoy killing shit to see that orange reddish or neon green beam coming up from the ground rather than opening chests up all day long. But some people enjoys that but it's not for me. I almost lost my sanity farming Manglemaw for 30 minutes the other day.

The problem is that the chest run is just so good. I told myself I was gonna try it for an hour then go back to rift runs. In the hour I did the core chest run, I got 4 legendaries. Then I was like ok, I can go do some more rifts, where I get 1 legendary maybe every other rift, or I can do more chest runs and get 4-5 per hour. Did another hour of chest runs and got another 3 legendaries. It really just makes you feel like whats the point of farming other areas when chests are so profitable.
Of course, soon blizzard will nerf chests instead of boosting legendaries in other areas, but whatever, guess I'll farm chests while I can, at least until I finish 4 piece talrasha.
