Mob density in this game I swear. One of the best parts of d2 was porting to river of flame and running to chaos sanct. because you knew it was stuffed with mobs and you were gonna be blasting demons like a motherfucker.
Just got done with a d3 rift where I spent 5 floors and 20 minutes running around just to clear it because mobs are so spread out. Shit is not fun.

And yet then you get those rifts where its 5 elite packs at once and its done in 5 minutes

I have noticed some of those as well and they are stupid as fuck. The greater rifts while interesting on one hand you can try and measure your e-peen with them and on the other hand there sure is a fair bit of RNG to them as well. The long ass hallways as you mentioned are one since if you die you are running back for minutes vs. a rift where you dive deeper and deeper into the short levels where you can respawn close by. Another issue with mob density, while I couldn't care less about it during Rifts in Greater Rifts it can be frustrating when you run into long stretches of little to no mobs since you are so pressed for time. Then the last bit of RNG and the part I mind the least is you can get fucked on the type of mob spawns. You can get those gay ass Arch-angel faggots charging your face from off the screen or you can get easy as fuck zombies. It's still fun to try and clear higher and higher rifts but it can be frustrating when you know the only reason you didn't beat the timer is due to one or more of these reasons.
As for those asking about gearing up for Wizard's finishing the Firebird's set always going to be the first priority then it will be gearing out the other slots with specific items that will help push dps and fire damage higher. Then you just hope you get lucky with those end game pieces. I have yet to find a Furnace, Serpents Sparkler, Witching Hour, Unity, Cannot die followers token. Even so I am still holding my own so while I really am hoping to find those pieces that will allow me to compete in the top ranks of the season I am also not planning on killing myself farming 1% drop rate items or bitching about them. With as easy as they made everything else in this game there should be at least a couple of carrots entice you.

Mob density should scale with increases in difficulty. For every 4 minute rift I get, I get 100 eight minute rifts.
Anyone Doing any HC Pling? I guess adventure mode dosent unlock unless you beat campaign on HC first?

I feel like I've hit a wall earlier than I should on my Crusader. I can do up to rank 25 or T5 rifts but it's already too slow to progress even if I don't die.
Katatonia - Community - Diablo III
I've got a Leoric's Crown ready to go as soon as Kadala finally decides to give me the Akkhan chest and I can move the 6pc around.After that I'll be rolling for belts, hoping for either Vigilante or (preferably) Krelm.(Edit: Just got a perfect 8% Vigilante to drop.) I have the Capt. Crimson plans but I don't think that's better than Leoric's (str/vit/crit/socket) + a good belt. I've looted lots of amulets and they're all shit compared to that Kymbo's Gold I have. Missing a SoJ too, only one I had drop came with fucking int and 20% poison on it, but giving up Unity will be pretty hard. Only other thing I really need is a Ramaladni so that I can roll the socket on my BoP back to 10% CDR.
Not sure what else to do. I'm a couple hundred paragon behind the top people on the leaderboard, but not much I can do about that. Just seems like I should be at least be able to get to 30 now with what I have, compared to them getting to 35-38 with a more perfect version of the same setup.

So I have this nagelring with +44% magic find but its a lvl 26 item and I'm 65 so the other stats on it suck. Is it worth it to keep wearing it just to get the magic find bonus? I havent seen any other way to get magic find other than shrines and helm gem. I'm not sure the normal amount of legendaries people get during the campaign. I'm about 3/4 the way through ACT V and I've gotten maybe 20 legendaries so far. Is that normal? Or is that ring really making a difference.
You need Akkhan set bonus and CDR to keep it boiling all the time...also SOJ is needed. Your CC and CD need a big boost, too. Better belt and amulet, also. As a start.
You can get to 200 Paragon pretty easily, but solo xp falls flat on its face at 220ish unless you are a god at soloing T5-6 or group there a lot.

Annoying to get to the end of the Grift (RG up), leave and do bounties then have to run your ass all the way back to where the RG is.
