Rough.. i'm too chicken to try grifts on my HC char lol
I haven't even done one yet but i have a couple trial keys in my stash

How do the levels work? level 25 is T6 isnt it? so what is T1 then?
Doing a little math... 25 divided by 6... = Level 4? lol no idea...

You are missing Crit Chance and Crit Hit Dmg almost everywhere. Start by rolling a socket on your weapon and adding an emerald. Then fill in the blanks elsewhere;D3Maxstatscan help.
Thanks for the help. Will roll the socket when I get home. Are the numbers I am seeing my skills hit for normal for non-crits? It feels flaccid to me but maybe I am just overthinking it.

What should I start spending my gambles on? Been doing weapon but not sure what stuff drops from gambling and what doesn't.

Only gamble weapon, amulet, or ring if those slots have pieces that are absolutely critical to your build and you have nothing else that needs gambling. The variety(both in legendary gear and possible affixes) and shard cost makes gambling those very inefficient.

Anyone have a good place that lists current viable monk builds? Coming back and my fire monk doesn't seem as good as it used to be. I was only able to limp my way through T3 rifts before, so it's not like my gear is good, but it doesn't feel the same and I'd like to go after a new build.
Like deathwing said, Sunwuko's 4-piece + daibo (preferably flying dragon) is the best. However, I disagree about using no generators. The damage potential of legendary gem procs is massive and WotHF: Fist of Fury is incredibly good at exploiting that since it adds a stackable DoT to all of the second stage hits. But aside from that, the skill has decent base damage values that can be ramped up very high with the right set up.

Using depth diggers (+100%), Simplicty Strength gem (+37.5% @ rank 25), Belt Affix (+15%), and BP? Affix (+15%), not to mention multiple +holy items, you can dish out heaps of rape using a generator WITHOUT giving up the ability to spam bells non-stop. When my epiphany is on cooldown I can spam click my mantra without running out of spirit by using the air ally active once before epiphany is up again. I regularly finish lvl 27-28 grifts with 6-7 minutes leftwith this setupand I am sure I can go higher but I have been focusing on upgrading gems (I currently have three that are rank 25, and one that is rank 13) so I normally just cash out on the first grift after my trial. Flying Dragon turns me into a buzzsaw of rape and mayhem that is extremely hard to kill because I practically never not have my mantra of healing shield up. And I kill rift guardians incredibly fast.

Whoever decided amulets should cost 20 shards is a fucking asshole. No idea why they cling to the idea that the neck slot needs to give you the no-lube, no-reacharound RNG treatment but it gets really tiresome ending up in the same situation on every character because getting a good one naturally is like winning the damn lottery. Now that they finally fixed the RoRG situation (Sort of... it's still a stupid item that shouldn't even exist. Set bonuses should just have been 2/3/5 instead of 2/4/6.) amulets should be next on their list.

I'm stuck rolling for amulets now and turning 500 shards into 25 blues and yellows repeatedly is rage-inducing. Even when I finally got a Julia yesterday (drop, not Kadala) it was so badly rolled that I couldn't even consider using it.

So right now I am rolling 2 pieces of Blackthorne, 2 pieces of Firebird (have a 3rd but it's the same slot as one of my Blackthornes) and 2 peices of Aughild's so 2 sets that grant damage against Elites. Can I get extra set pieces for those in Gambling? Should I be shooting for one of those or should I start doing something like trying to improve the quality of one of my legendaries like my Magefist by getting a new one that's better?

There's a SWK spec that uses tempest rush and low cooldown spirit abilities(Blinding Flash + Madstone and Air Ally + Crudest Boots) to supplement passive spirit regen. That, combined with Momentum, Hexing Pants, and 4 piece Innas(use 5 spirit SW to upkeep Taeguk, TR and Mantra dump spirit fast enough) might make it comparable? IDK, I hate TR. Running circles everywhere looks silly and makes my wrist hurt very fast. Plus it lacks the burst that the standard SWK spec has.

Legs is the other slot. Depending how those affixes stack, I'm not I'd use Simplicity or the other leg/belt affixes with Depth Diggers. Not worth the lost mitigation. Plus, the rank 25 on Simplicity is garbage. The text is misleading, it should say "on attack".

Barbarian - Game Guide - Diablo IIIbut could change based on what gear you have, if you have plenty of fury change out Ground Stomp for Rend.
Hm I've taken a bit of a different approach to my build. I don't have a fury gainer and rely completely upon Hexing Pants + War Cry w/ Charge and Avalanche/EQ w/ Earthen Might + Reaper's Wraps to keep my fury in check. I may want to look into possibly Rend as well instead of Overpower tonight.

I don't know how to link a specific character but in my sig is my season guy. He is the 3rd character in my list.

I find it more upsetting that enchanting jewelry requires 9 marquis gems and like 1 million gold per attempt.

Well gold isn't an issue if you've managed to get a vault so you have the boon of the hoarder gem. Tried that thing out for the first time and its pretty sick, I got 2.5m gold clearing half of the arachnid caves on t4 from all the little spiders.

The gem thing is indeed retarded. I'm lucky to be able to attempt 1 amulet roll per hour running t6 rifts in 3-5 minutes non-stop trying to get amethysts. It is sort of crazy that the game has gotten to a point where I accumlate forgotten souls faster than gems.

Anyway I beat a 39 G-rift solo and that's probably the best I'll do with Destiny starting tomorrow. Im sure I could do a 40 with the right composition but ain't nobody got time for trying over and over until the dense zombie map comes up.Derpatron - Community - Diablo IIIsee you next patch!

Am I the only one that has been saving every gem? I have stacks of 1000 marquis gems and a few hundred imperial gems of every color in my stash. My bottleneck was always money but the new patch changed that. I haven't even been picking up marquis gems for while now...

No RLTW but if you really wanted it you could probably switch it out for FC. Perma ancients give limitless WW as long as they hit something.http://us.battle.net/d3/en/profile/D.../hero/51866629

I most likely have a bunch non-seasonal, but there is quite the bottleneck in seasonal. I think part of the problem tbh is greater rifts not dropping any loot until the end so you only get a few gems at the end, before I started running more grifts I didn't have an issue so much with gems. Grifts should drop more gems, and more imperial gems at the end of higher ones.

I saved every gem for a long time, had around 1000 of each at the start of 2.1. With the removal of the money bottleneck and the greater amulet/ring drop rate I quickly blew through my stash. Not to mention the need to reroll all the existing rings to have sockets, having a unity for solo and SoJ for grouping etc etc.
