Anyone know of a website that has grift leaderboards? I'd like to look up where certain builds max out without using Blizzard's horrible UI.

Specifically, I've seen some videos of seasonal BoP/Condemn and I like the playstyle, very similar to SWK but with better mobility(which is kinda sad for monks) and proc generation since a large majority of SWK's damage can't proc.

Guy in my clan runs that build and is pretty high up the board. From my understanding the biggest downside is single target dps. Can just flat out roll through rifts though.

That doesn't add up. The quest xp for completion you get when you talk to Orek in town. The gem chick doesn't award a quest. Killing the RG doesn't complete a quest either. You would only get xp in town if the xp from killing monsters is somehow bleeding into town?

Edit: Maybe it's reversed. If you stand in the rift while someone turns in the quest in town, you get the multiplier or something. Either way, you turn in the completion in town no matter what so the "exploit" as you described isn't a thing, that's literally how the game works, you are in town for the completion bonus :p

Edit 2: It looks like it has nothing to do with the completion xp. For some reason if you go into the rift, stay for X number of mob deaths (guide was saying 10+), and then zone out, you still get xp for mobs killed in the rift even though you're in town. So that's broken on a couple levels really
Yeah I did this to power level some friends, though I had no idea about the Grift paragon bonus. Would do a couple bounties with them, have them open a rift, we'd go in and kill a few things then have him portal out so he would never die. I thought it was an awesome change. First noticed it when I got a paragon when I had to go back to town to vendor or something.

BoP/Condemn play is fun as hell until a grift guardian. As janx said, single target dps is pretty bad.

Am I the only one that has been saving every gem? I have stacks of 1000 marquis gems and a few hundred imperial gems of every color in my stash. My bottleneck was always money but the new patch changed that. I haven't even been picking up marquis gems for while now...
Save topaz gems. I smoked through a stack of 500 in a blink rerolling rings and making 2 max int gems.

I never have topaz gems anymore. I've been trying to roll a socket on my amulet and burned through all of them. 1 hour play session yields like 2 imperial topaz.

As a monk, how much HP, resistances and armor should I be looking at doing T4-T5? I was doing a level 24grift the other day and felt like I was getting one-shotted constantly. Would salvation mantra with resistance rune be better than healing for this purpose?

Simply for the swap value the wizard teleport until your fingers bleed wand is great at speeding up bounties

RIP in Pepperonis my HC seasonal Barb. That is what I get for playing the most gimped class in the game with no second life skills and what not. Was still fun though.

Single target you get two explosions, right? So it's 2 x 1160% and an 83% proc coefficient vs 3 * 960(if all 3 hit) and a 50% proc coefficient. Doesn't seem that bad for single target. Or were you comparing it to different crusader build for single target? Still bringing myself up to speed for what's viable in grifts for crusaders.

Wish there was a way to shoehorn in a genless build without messing up movement. Bowmen would probably fix the single target dps problem.

Playing again a little bit off and on - so I get a bunch of various legendaries and set pieces while farming on my DH. Several set pieces for other classes as well as some leg's that look amazing, except they have dex as the main stat.

When I equip them on a different class (I don't have any other 70 yet), will that dex magically change over to int or whatever? Or are those pieces generally fucked unless they have the rest of the rolls perfect and you can just enchant the dex into int or whatever. Just wondering if these somewhat decent pieces (if I could change one of the other stats) are worth holding onto or I should just salvage them.

Thanks in advance.

edit - just logged in and double checked, and it looks like set items spawn with the correct main stat for the set - that's good. But I have several legendaries that would need to have multiple stats changed to be any good. Ah well.

well if u havent changed any stats on those item u can reroll to the main stat of your chosing by giving it to the appropriate char (to get str or int) and reroll it with myriam, esle yes items are useless.

Do crusaders have a single target build? Even Shield Bash with the half cost shield will do less DPS due to Condemn hitting twice.

Now that I'm thinking about it, monks don't have a single target build either. Might be why I'm used to slow rift guardians.

Firestarter/fist may do better on single target with perma AC.
I've tried theorycrafting that one and the one thing I can't figure out is how the dot from the Heaven's Tempest rune applies firestarter. One firestarter dot per second, or per damage calculation(which seems to be 1/8th of a second for some dots)? Either way, I usually like running divine well with that build because the damage spread with that rune is much better and it will proc the healing from holy cause.

You will lose a fair bit of dps from miri procs because FoTH's coefficient blows(10%) compared to FoH or Condemn.
