It looks a thousand times better than Lost Ark and tons of people played that fucking garbage game.
Huh? Lol. Lost Ark is a good looking game and has some of the best boss fights of any game that exists.

After the last few PoE leagues I think the plan is to just rerelease Diablo 3 with the gamma turned down and hope POE has fucked itself up enough by summer to be worse than D3

Goddamn this looks like dogshit. Plus the character customization section looks like fucking plastic. This looks exactly like Diablo 3, I figured we would see some improvement upon it. Given D3 came out 10 fucking years ago.

This is Blizzard. All they have left are developers recycling the content their predecessors made. Hell, they can't even do that correctly.

Current league, 3.20, has been pretty good. 3.18 was good too, people seem to gloss over that for some reason.

Not denying they've had some stinkers lately accompanied by (still) puzzling gameplay changes.

“This looks exactly like Diablo 3”

maybe you haven’t played D3 in awhile because it doesn’t look like that…

Hyperbole just makes you look like a hater.

Law Firm "Investigating" Diablo Immortal Item Nerf - Blue's News Comments

Law firm Migliaccio & Rathod announces it is investigating False Advertising allegations about Diablo Immortal, presumably to facilitate a class action suit. At issue are the mechanics of a premium item which changed after players paid for it. Here's word on the hazards of nerfing items in a pay-to-win game:

Migliaccio & Rathod LLP is currently involved in the Diablo Immortal False Advertising Investigation, for Activision-Blizzard’s false advertisement of the effect of a purchasable, in-game item in Diablo Immortal. The “Blessing of the Worthy” legendary gem, purchasable in bundles that could cost over $100, changes the description of its effect in vastly different, and detrimental, ways as the gem is leveled up.

At level two, the item’s description that the player has a chance to deal damage equal to their maximum health is changed at level three to state that the player has a chance to deal damage equal to their current health. This means that rather than dealing a fixed amount of damage equal to one’s maximum health, the amount of damage that could be dealt instead changes with the player’s current health and is therefore less than previously understood, since the effect is only triggered when the player takes damage.

Rather than offer refunds or some form of compensation, Blizzard has instead responded to the Blizzard community by stating that they will change the item’s text description to reflect its actual effect, at level three. This practice essentially amounts to a bait-and-switch, since a purchasable item was advertised with one effect that players wanted and ended up with something completely different.

If you watch Internet Historian videos(and why aren't you?), that law firm should sound familiar. They started a class action lawsuit for Fallout 76. The lawsuits might have merit, but these guys seems like the digital versions of ambulance chasers.

Even if the lawsuit is frivolous I hope they win and buttfuck Blizzards asshole until it bleeds. These kind of games deserve to never exist.

They'd have better luck on any game that is primarily non-english, very few games actually hire someone bilingual to translate and google does a hilariously bad job in item descriptions. You could get hundreds of games that fit that DI lawsuit description

That cinematic lacked the polish I’m used to from Blizzard. Has the cinematic department finally succumbed to the blight that has infected the rest of the company?

The really good cinematics are made by some other studio which does all the big reveal cinematics that we're used too (D4 reveal with Lilith, then Inarius reveal were made by the good studio). This one, and the Rogue reveal cinematic were made by someone else.
