It's already pretty bad if you watch shows on a lot of networks.On the one hand I like competition, on the other hand, the more successful this is, the more and more streaming services are going to come out and then we're all right back to cable.
Netflix, hulu, Disney, Amazon, YouTube, apple.. standalones like hbo and showtime, and if you want hallmark, mtv, bravo, etc, you need sling, philo and/or fubo.
Upside is you can cancel streaming platforms for periods when shows are lacking.
I don't know how "cable" for streaming would work.. I think the latter group (sling/philo/fubo) is basically doing that by consolidating all the random basic cable channels
