Inphinity +4, supposedly Merlini's new team with Murs, SeleCT(pro sc2 player formerly of team dignitas), Inphinity, Merlini, and Clairvoyance just had their first official tournament match in the 4pl on Tobi's stream.
Merlini's QOP just went 29-1-15. Jeeessuuusss.

Lich, veno, lion, shadow shaman all pretty straight forward in how their skills work basically.

Someone post in the lol thread that you can buy invites for 2 cents
If you're buying invites at this point, even for 2cents, you're pretty desperate, I've got so many to give away and basically no one needs them anymore. Stupid Valve keeps sending me mails about how I got more invites, even though I still have like 14 from before.

I dont think they will add a concede vote , they want people to play it out. I mean you can come back from a bad fight. But yeah , leavers are a huge problem for this genre , its impossible or damn near to come back from that. But doesnt matter in Dota2 once that person is marked as abondoned you are free to leave the game with no penalty for you leaving after that.

The abandon queue (which keeps on accumulating non stop days at a time), combined with the big teamfight ults and varied late games of compositions - no surrender is good - if your team wants to give up you can sit in the pond, once someone abandons - like osiris said just exit game and requeue. Its a much better soluition than a surrender option where people bitch out until the 20/30 minute arrives and then just spam surrender.

You guys realize that if someone leaves the game for 5 minutes, you can just leave, right ?

Leavers become almost non-existent when you leave the trash tier that all new players start in.
This is the biggest issue I have with DOTA right now. Every game I get into, someone leaves immediately.
With the exceptions of games I've played with some of the rerolled peeps.

so stick it out and try and get better. When I started out I won a handful of 4v5s. The thing about leavers? Is if it's not a clear and obvious win for one side by the time of the abandon ANYONE can and WILL leave. It's all about demoralizing bitches at that point. I can't tell you how many times a teammate has abandoned and I go on to gank someone on the opposing team 2-3 times and they just rage abandon the game.

It's not that people stay, see they're losing and then leave. The very second they get into game, before the match even starts people leave. There's no way in hell they know the outcome of the game literally 5 seconds in to it. I don't think.
I think it only bugs me because it reminds me of the L4D community, people just raging just because.. It doesn't stop me from playing it through though. If I want to get better I really don't have a choice but to play it out, win or lose.

hahaha, definitely stay away from Invoker for awhile. Probably also want to stay away from Meepo and to a lesser degree Chen.

A few already mentioned which are mainly support. Lich, Veno, Lion, and Shadow Shaman are pretty decent. Support is a good way to start, but if they have gankers such as Nyx, Bounty Hunter, Bloodseeker, Tiny, etc then you'll die quick if you're not playing carefully. Also I'd add Orge Magi to this mix because of his guaranteed stun AND slow, plus one of his main items(Agh) buffs your hp, mana, and damage.

Tanky support is pretty decent too though most are melee. Tidehunter is fun and can be pretty brutal. Omniknight has tons of survivability and versatility. He could even become a midgame ganker if fed enough. Undying is one of the best heroes in the game currently, it might take a few games to get used to him but he absolutely dominates the laning phase.

If you don't want to play support I suggest anyone with a guaranteed stun. Most of these will be carries, but if you have another carry on the team you won't be relied on completely. Sven, Skeleton King, Dragon Knight, Centaur Warrunner, or Chaos Knight.

I'm going to plug in one more hero which is pretty much only good in pubs, some people will say he is a scrub hero, but they're dumb. Slark is one of those heroes you could do TERRIBLE early game with, but your Q can farm like a madman once its max level. I've been shut out in my lane completely and still farmed enough to carry games. He isn't a hard carry, more of a ganker/semi-carry. He does take some skill to play, especially landing your W since its not targeted. Once you get 6 you just go hide in the trees or just somewhere you can't be seen and you'll have full HP in no time. Once you have the game basics this hero can be a beast, especially if you're playing in the lower bracket.
