It'll be interesting to see how much this is gonna hurt LoL's numbers especially in a couple of months. Anyone know of any good custom game modes already? Did a few when WC3 came out but never kept up with it so new to some of the good old school ones that will eventually return I imagine.

I think very little, unless Riot makes a major mistake, most of their players are too invested in the game to switch. I don't know about Source 2 min requirements, but if they got lowered that might help more than any custom game. If it can run on my 5 years old laptop without the stutters it used to have I bow to their wizardry
I have no doubt LoL is still massively played and watched but it doesnt seem to make the news much anymore. I almost never hear anything about it. I wouldn't be terribly surprised to see some decline in the near future if Riot doesn't do something for a change. In the past 6 months to a year I think I've heard two stories about the game, the venue of their tournament and some music video they released.

Well the Bloodseeker/Zeus thing is kind of a pub strat but a pretty solid one(if you remember that Nigma video where they could instantly kill the enemy team from their own fountain with Furion+Zeus+Bloodseeker and some refresher, hilarious shit). Interesting they went with Jakiro/Darkseer combo to go with it which is like old school meta, and wisp was a brilliant pick to round up the whole thing and make it really global. Cool stuff regardless. I assume it's not really like a serious top tier draft and they're just fucking up with people to force bloodseeker bans during the more important games and what not.

They firstpicked Wisp and DS was second, so I guess they thought they just needed damage on top of that. Still, the start was wonky as hell, but kuro saved s4's ass multiple times and the brood gave up FB and then once again when RTZ got 6 for no good reason, all that pressure let Zai farm up fast mek and after that they never lost a teamfight. I think it would fall apart if they didn't get such a good start, but then again, IG seemed to be on the back foot from the beginning, if not from the draft. The BH pick I didn't understand, since his only ganking partner was the qop, brood sits in a single lane and Secret didn't even have jungler he could fuck with.

Maybe they watched the game just before where they picked Bloodseeker jungle on kuro? Don't know the order of the picks but they might have counterpicked BS with BH for that, and then they ran it as core instead and the BH became kinda useless. Anyway pretty good games so far, that VG vs VP was entertaining, Illidan's Silencer is really nice.

God I love Jakiro. Last ten hero challenge.. started it off on the right foot. Love a good agh+veil macropyre. It is just so pleasing when it lands well.

I haven't really played in the last month but join the club. I was up around 3700 at one point, dropped to 2500, went back to 3400, and in the previous few months went back down to 2900.
I'm pretty sure my support game (all I play) has never became worse. Last I was playing regularly a month ago I felt like my teams couldn't do anything right and there was nothing I could do about it.
