Mysery's Slardar has been brutal since they started picking it, the hero is just really good if you don't draft him as a 1 since he can't farm for shit.

He doesn't make you money, he doesn't stream, he is not interested in having his face plastered all over hardware peripherals. Little did anybody know at that time that players would be able to ditch all sponsorship deals in favor of just being really fucking good at the game. He just sits there, on his throne of slain of enemies, quietly plotting how to take over the world. I really wish he gave an interview here or there. If Epi did an interview with him, like he did with Misery or Envy, I would be so happy. Even the old talkdota episodes he did with Tobi/Synd are pure gold, almost Dota2's State of the Game (god how I miss that show)

The issue w/ super's passport raise an issue w/ the sub rules, realistically how many great players are going to be willing to tie themselves to a team to not play? I understand why the rule is in place, but in reality its pretty difficult to see how it can ever work.
I mean even if a team has a substitute, most likely role swapping will be involved which unless the team has versatile members will be pretty disastrous.

Nahaz is pretty much a universally reviled replacement for Bruno. I thought Redeye was fantastic though at TI after the first day when he got into the swing of it. Hey, at least there's no Sheever this time.

I was gonna say how stupid passport issues are in general, but reading the full explanation it seems like a very complex and convoluted Chinese situation, that could have been resolved. And iG and Super are taking responsibility to their credit.
Anyways, knowing this passport BS exists and problems always come up, hopefully the roster lock ansbrules help make organizations more proactive in getting things in order. Also hopefully since the scene continues to grow and people are getting more and more experience resolving them, we won't see as many.
Redeye is a cool host man. Really liked him at TI and have seen him at a couple other things, I think the CS:GO tourney was the last. Nahaz on the other hand isn't a good host, he's a great stats guy when used appropriately and he doesn't cut off the pros with irrelevant nonsense facts.

Man y'all bitches too hard on my grill Sheever. Sure she isn't a 7k player but she's one of the only ones up there consistently trying to be professional and study what is going on. She works on her English and communication skills and takes notes on all the drafts and plays. She definitely has issues putting everything together and should be a host personality and not an analyst or caster though. On a side note she's been pretty much more consistently correct about the drafts in Dreamleaugue than the analysts. She picked the Viper, Centaur, Sven, and something else yesterday after the couch shot her down and mocked her.
People just remember her terrible Sheever ravage and how bad she was 2.5 years ago.

Ya I don't get the Sheever hate, one of the few non-cam**** types in dota, earnest and actually plays the game unlike say Redeye or that random asian guy they had hosting @ TI....
