The machine gun sound is caused by killing Rosh. It is/was happening to SingSing every time anyone killed Rosh, apparently happened to Arteezy also.
I thought map was bugged for a while then I realized its shitty Chinese characters and we seem to have the china cast in the background? I thought at first it was heroes saying shit.

the player "booths" are exactly what you saw on stream not even sure if theyre private. definitely arent any fuckin doors or dividers.

He's not doing nearly as well as the group stage. If I had to guess I'd bet they're experiencing at least all the same problems we are as viewers. Lack of coordination, shit production, no idea wtf is even going on, etc... And it is coming across with him trying to figure out when something is going to fucking happen and he needs to direct the panel.
