I'm not good enough to play core so I'll be a support. It's a lot easier.

*watches WG/OG*

Oh, I guess I'm horrible forever. :(

Frustrating to watch a fight where it's almost impossible for anyone on WG to die between imprison and Oracle.
That od was crazy tanky anyway without it.

Wish they would stop doing the hero zoom in shit, level one smokes happening and you can't see wtf is going on

Seems odd to not skill natural order vs ogre, why not zero his armour that is half the reason there hero is picked.

Because you need to put in 4 points/lvl 7 to zero it and there's Sven warcry on top of it. Read the ability.

I know how it works, you'd take nearly half his base with a single point and Sven doesn't want warcry for a few levels.

Really? I generally go warcry by level 2. Generally not ready to start clearing neutrals and needing cleave until at least level 4 or 5. And warcry is better for doing neutrals than an early level of cleave in my opinion (if you were looking to do them in the first few levels).

I understand the reasoning behind the pugna pick but that hero is just terrible. Great you can kill illusions, what then?
He can absolutely win you whole teamfights with his ward, if you push a well positioned ward can mean a free tower. Life drain is either terrible or terrific and the speed at which he razes down buildings rivals Lone Druid. So yeah, he has a lot of games where you ask why he isn't picked more often, and then you have a game like this and you go "Oh, that's why"

Early tower advantage and the ward is strong(well, not against Juggernaut but in theory it is). But it seems kinda meh especially with that draft. Also Lion can do a similar job without an agh as a support so it feels a bit wasted to go Pugna just to counter illusions.

Just got back home...left after the DC stomping of NP. I have only been in the balcony area thus far, but holy shit the seats are bad legroom wise. It made me think fondly as to the ample space on an airplane in comparison and was part of the reason I didn't stay for the final match...shit is painful after being subjected to that all day.

Was pretty cool being there in person. Bruno and a bunch of Valve folks were at the Panera Bread getting lunch lol. Standing in line for the secret shop was painful...wind was strong and with windchill, it must have been in the single digits. They were sold out of a bunch of stuff (mystery boxes, IO plush, and almost all the shirts unless you're cool with a small or triple or double XL lol). Chatted it up with some guy (may have been an attorney) whose office was a couple blocks from the theater and we watched the Warrior Gaming vs. OD match on his phone while waiting for the slow line to move. Was kind of odd being around so many DOTA enthusiasts, since I know no one IRL who likes it like I do lol
