They should just default based on region and only let people cross-queue if they are in a group of friends with someone from the other region, ffs. Such an obvious fix that it really makes me wonder what the deal is with Valve. I've only come to expect this sort of shit from Blizzard where they wait two years and then patch it in as a new "expansion feature".

I had to go into steam, right click Dota 2, properties, and set launch options (-console) to get it to work. Though it pops up every time I launch but that isn't too big of a deal.

that worked, thanks anyone tryng to get some organized games going? even if its us vs pugs i feel like unless i play carrys i lose games, and i dont mind carrying i like to mix it up and supporting a dead beat carry is awful.

If anyone wants easy wins, just pick Warlock. His Golem (which he can get 4 of) has a 60% change to do 300 damage (in addition to the constant immolation effect). Because of this change that was fixed a week or so ago, he has the highest win rate in the last week

managed to rack up 27 kills with him the other day while rest of my team fed. just waited at base, wiped them then pushed all the way to there base with 4 golems. With scepter and refresher it's ridiculous. If you have any kind of decent back up it's brutal

Yeah, my buddy and I have been getting easy wins (normal skill bracket) with Warlock and Kotl. Starting at level 6, we push every time lock ult is up and win at around 25 min. We can get the t1's by ourselves and by then the rest of our team figures it out and will come help.

Heroes like Warlock become less useful as you get into higher ranked games. He doesn't have a stun or good slow at low levels and has no escape mechaism. Other supports like Shadow Demon, Leshrac, Veno, Nyx etc. are very useful at level 1.

Lost a game last night because a guy's friend left the game due to a fire in his dorm. He didn't d/c or share control... so after 10 minutes or so he abandoned but we never regained control of his character, which we only needed for the ulti.

We almost won 4v5, but with the 5th guy it wouldn't have been close. PRO TIP: If you're leaving your house, d/c or share control for christ sake.
