Support Sven and support Medusa aren't the same thing at all. Medusa is a fucking terrible support. Her only decent "support" spell is her ultimate. Everything else is completely fucking worthless other than carrying, the snake does shit dmg unless you meet specific conditions and doesn't have any disable, mana shield is insanely dependant on gear for any sort of usefulness and so is split arrow. Sven on the other hand, reliable long range targettable aoe stun that also does high dmg? Just that right there beat the entire Medusa skillset. Then you have warcry which gives movespeed AND armor to your entire team. His ultimate also has some uses for supporting, mostly for dropping roshan or towers faster, even if you have crappy gear.

Sven was played as a support for the longest time until he was buffed a fuckton(mostly cleave radius) in the last few patches where he became the go to carry again for a while. Medusa I don't think I've ever seen played a support.

However you said nets, so I'm thinking, maybe you're mixing Naga Siren and Medusa. Naga Siren support is a viable and strong support. Medusa is a pure hard carry.

We've been having pretty good success in channel preforms, at least when I'm spam inviting people, I think we're close between 60-80% winrate. Pure fuzzy math but definitely >50%

this is true even with me bogging us down, i think ive only lost a few games with you and the others from the channel, and most of the time it is silly things like sloppy execution or supports getting picked off, we have had a couple good comebacks too.
