People just like to find something to bitch about. The pause was lame, because it's a lame thing to have happen during the game, but it didn't shift the outcome of anything.

Dude already posted an apology anyways.

So 72 different heroes were played on the first day(6 not in -cm, 24 not picked/banned). Bunch of the heroes left are also sure to be picked at least once, with stuff like mirana, slark, PA. That's a pretty big amount, even though I guess some of them were very unsucessful picks(bloodseeker and broodmother for example).

Oh wow someone picked BS? Some heroes just shouldn't be played in a pro game.
Not once, but TWICE, by different teams. He did get buffed quite a lot so I guess some teams felt like the surprise might win them games but I think you're more likely to win off a spiritbreaker pick than a bloodseeker pick.

He's generally picked as a counter to tree armor as his Q acts as a dispel. He was played once to great effect a month or so ago, I forget by who.

Anyone know if there's a way to tell which tournament games you have watched and which you haven't?

No idea but there is already so many games it'll take forever to download and fast forward through the highlights.
I watched about 90% of them last night. Plus it only takes me about 30 seconds to download, skip through to the end a few times, and hit close.

Yeah that's what the casters were saying for one of the game, which is sad since it's not supposed to remove it, or any other purge for that matter. But eh anything that makes living armor weaker is a good thing, plus IF might change it in dota1 to reflect that mechanic too if he finds it an acceptable tradeoff.

No idea I was just using 4 tabs, I don't really need to watch 4 games at the same time anyway, I'd usually just watch one and every 10mins check scores on other games. I ended up getting more views than possible though, I guess watching twitch and ingame at the same time gives 2views, my courier has 132 views and it should have like 115 or something.

Weird, I had a higher viewcount than possible after the quals, up to 127.

edit: why the fuck is d2l offline at start time

Even if it was up their bots are full I believe, can't bet unless you have items on the bots already, at least that's what one guy said I didn't bet on this round. They simply don't have the capacity to handle the amount of bets and items, hell even for shitty tournaments they have issues so right now can't expect much. They should open donations or whatever, maybe they have already don't know.

Anyway some good games today. Let's see how Fnatic does against the big chinese teams.

I've been playing like two weeks now, but I had the most fun game yet this morning.

I was Phantom Assassin...me and another dude were getting shut down at the bottom, having to run, back off, ran back to base, ended up dying a couple of times, and one of the other lanes wasn't faring much better. I think at one point the opposing team had like 13 kills to our 3 or something.

So, by 30 minutes, I thought the game was over. They had already knocked down a couple of lanes of towers to our base, and at one point they were already destroying shit in our base. I was, along with one or two other people, behind in levels and gear because of all our fucking around and getting harassed. An Ursa on their team was managing to find me wherever the hell I was and must have killed me about 7 times himself.

I think largely in part due to a really good player with a Centaur Warrunner on our team, we actually managed to win this fucker at 1 hour. I finally got geared up and started destroying some squishy heroes in the last 15 or 20 minutes, and I actually felt like I was contributing. At around 55 minutes, the opposing team had made another run at our base with limited progress, and when a few of them were dead, with virtually no communication on our end, we all went up the middle and rode to victory with maybe one death in the process, just kept shutting them down and in the spawn area. There had to just be quite a bit of pure dumb luck involved here because it looked really bad at one point, but it ended up being quite a fun go.

I love hearing Ayesee claim Fnatic's draft is awful and they got outdrafted with no further explanation and that's why they're losing, then when they mount a comeback he pats himself on the back and claims he totally called this when he saw their draft. What the fuck, how is this fraud one of the most popular casters
