Servers for JUST THEM to play on would be an awesome compendium reward goal instead of pretty much anything else on there.I didn't know the south american players invading us servers was such a problem...

the TA was trying to safelane carry (that was his farm vs solo bs where we firstblooded and I left to jungle), he'd just charge in 2v1 vs jakiro and ember thinking he can win somehow
the struggle is real
rofl could you imagine that as the final stretch goal.Servers for JUST THEM to play on would be an awesome compendium reward goal instead of pretty much anything else on there.
Techies of course would be another awesome reward.
EU West and Russians is just as bad. It's really detrimental to DOTA imo.I didn't know the south american players invading us servers was such a problem...

Those groups are on purpose. No team gets knocked out of the tournament in the group stage. The intent here is to set 1-8 seeding by allowing the regional champions to fight. The winner of group A gets to play the shittiest team in group b I.E 1vs8 / 2vs7 / 3v6 / 4v5. Think of it this way. Group A is setting seeds 1-4 and Group B is setting seeds 5-8. This setup prevents the top teams from hitting each other in the first round of bracket play. One really has to question the sanity of whoever decided the WPC playoff groups -WPC 2014 Playoffs - Liquipedia Dota 2 WikiLets put all the strong teams in one!
All the EU qualifier games I've seen are super shitty.
That isn't the typical way to do things.... usually one has 1,3,5,7 in one and 2,4,6,8 in the other. When you place closely ranked teams together you increase the likelihood of an upset. Those groups are on purpose. No team gets knocked out of the tournament in the group stage. I'm not certain you understand the purpose of the group stage really. All 8 of these teams played a very long regular season - especially the Chinese teams. The top 6 Chinese advanced to the playoffs along with the top 2 from the western qualifier. Those teams are only seeded relative to the competition they played. In the east the order was VG/Newbee/DK followed by Titan/IG/DT - with the west being C9/Alliance in order. So now you have 8 teams? Where do you seed C9/Alliance? Do you give them the 7/8 seeds? Cause they are western? Do you outright give C9 the Number 1 seed? do you give C9 the 4th seed because they aren't Chinese? They need to establish an actual 1-8 without invalidating the group stages prior to the bracket playoffs. That isn't the typical way to do things.... usually one has 1,3,5,7 in one and 2,4,6,8 in the other.
