Cause EG did such a good job of not giving up in the first 15mins. It's just the playstyle, if you play an agressive early playstyle and you get raped early, game's fucking over there's no coming back.
Definitely was shitty finals though, at least it was short.

It's pretty obvious the practice of the chinese teams was showing in the playoffs, simply better movement and coordination. Hopefully the west can strike back.
Reminds me of S class Starcraft pros, the games are also usually over so fast since one side gets a lead and never fucks up to give it up.

What was EG's excuse then? They got to watch VG win 2 bo3s in a row playing the same strategy. If you're still not ready to defend your tier1s then.... I dunno. VG's strat wasn't some big mystery.

EG tried to play their game and VG's game is much stronger than EGs. They couldn't adapt and lost. Not exactly a secret.
From a quality of games perspective I feel last years TI was much better, just really didn't enjoy watching the last couple of matches this year in comparison to really enjoying almost every match last year.

Yeah but how can EG defend playing their own game? They play an extremely greedy style, I agree. Isn't that just a stupid ass decision? I feel like if EG tries to adapt, they win. Blergh.
Kind of sad when the Rat Dota that won last year made for more exciting games then what we got this year in the final groupings.

PPD failed at drafting basically, especially in G3 not even sure what his plan was there. Universe plays an amazing NP. They just simply had to ban SS/Razor and pick NP if that's not viable ban Razor/NP and counter morph. The NP crushed them all 3 games or 2? I don't know just shit drafting.
