That's annoying as fuck. Basically this is the only forum that I come too for pretty much everything. It has everything. Games to Women, to tech knowledge. Literally everything. I'm not saying that the new forums won't either, but it's annoying as balls to have to check both places at this point.
I suppose by posting here I'm just furthering that problem, but it's near impossible to get everyone to switch over, and this sense of missing something bugs me.
That, and you spew out the main posters have already moved over, but seem to forget that not everyone is here for the SS/General forums, both of which I rarely ever frequent. Plenty here are not part of the SS clique, and so if the "main posters" move over, it means very little to me personally.
Fucking Jimmies Rustled. Who gives a fuck who owns it, as right now it's worse off than before we found out because the entire community is fractured.

About a month or more ago, we transferred ownership of the site to MMORPG.com's owernship company. The reason for this was because Teljair and I were dissolving our LLC and no longer had the time and money to maintain a tax ID and manage the financials, not to mention Teljair's time spent fighting off Tyen's bots, server outages, maintaining software, bugs and other disruptions.
What Rerolled.org got out of the deal is that they now have top notch server hardware so that the site will never have to go through what happened at FOHguild.org with malware and server disruption. It will be stable and secure forever now with a top notch tech team to back it up. Database isues, calendar isssues, and every buggy thing that has been part of Rerolled.org should be fixed and run as smoothly as possible. In return MMORPG just asks that we do the same thing we've always done. They won't be attempting any stupid cross-promotional things I tried to do with Junkies Nation.
I understand a lot of you are upset, but from the outside looking in nothing changes except who collects the small ad revenue and maintains the server bills.
There are many people in the community that dislike me to begin with and I understand if you want to set up shop elsewhere. However, rerolled.org will still be up if you would like to continue to post here or organize here.

as i said, you dont have to stop posting here, even if most of us leave because carebears took over then you can just switch over too and still have the single site for what you like to read. you dont have to decide now or tomorrow or next month. its good to have a backup in case shit goes sideways. if it does then we have an established place to go instead of getting fucked in the ass like what happened twice to us in 2012.

Bear in mind that MMORPG.com has been running the site for a month nowalready, I'm beginning to suspect that a_skeleton_03 and hodj are just trying to tale advantage of shit and scaremonger.
Wonder how long it'll be before the new forums get sold off. Six months? Three?

its not scaremongering, it happened to us twice 4 years ago, we got no warning and one day poof went our two boards. we lost most of our original community which spanned back to the 1990s. i came in around in 2000 and the site was already old. i think FoH was an Ultima guild back in the day so this community was really fucking old. what you see now is just a remnant of what was once a huge gaming community.

Sounds good. But why would they buy this site, just to upgrade it and preserve our niche gaming and trap porn community for $5 a month in ad revenue, out of the goodness of their hearts?
