There is something to this, over the years this board has made some enemies, be it some band of kids pissed at being screwed out of a contest or pantheon followers and many others and surely will make more in the future, what happens when one of those calls out MMORPG.com for hosting us?

same, i go where the action is, the consensus is the action is no longer here so i am over there. if things change then they change, i have no loyalty to a_skeleton_03 even though he has sone an incredible job and i will likely be donating to the site to keep it going. as far as i can tell a_skeleton_03 has been honest andf straightforward. draegan hasnt even shown his face since he was outed for selling us out. dude just dont give a fuck about us, hasnt made one goddamned improvement to this site in 4 years, in fact we have lost features over that time, why stick around? whats there to wait and see about anymore? with exception of a few stragglers, the community has already moved over and are enjoying the new site. i also dont understand why the new owners arent making themselves known here. it could be they are just cool dudes who let things go or they could be getting ready to merge the users here with their forums in order to bolster their activity. i dont like it whatever it is. with the new board, they can whatever the fuck they want and i dont need to worry about it because i already left.

what i can say for sure is that this board is not only going to change or be deleted it already has changed so even if they did nothing this board is no longer the board we loved anymore.

It's been suggested here that Tyen is given posting rights on the new site because he and a_skeleton_03 are friends. Does that strike anyone else as odd? a_skeleton_03 was the primary instigator of the anti-Trex movement that whipped the old boards into a fervor and partially facilitated our departure.

Whatever history is lost here thanks to Dreagan's actions pales in comparison to the history we lost on the last move and the person responsible is now a welcome member of the new site. This should give anyone pause.

The difference between this time and last time is last time people were actually forced to move due to the closure of FOH (and I think MoreNetz?). Here Rerolled isn't closing and despite many already posting on ReRe, there are still 300+ people on this site as of now (and they are not bots) vs. only 100 or so on ReRe. I can definitely see the community fracturing if both sites continue to stay up and get regular traffic. Like others said though, I'll go where the action is. For some topics it's still here since they are not well established on the new site. But for active stuff like Politics, as of now that's ReRe. We'll see how it plays out.

If this was being done because Draegan said IDGAF and we were worried the site would lose hosting or something, yes, keep it as a life raft. Edited posts here. Banned user there. Little things probably 90% of us will even agree with at first, culminating in - ironically - things like misgendering a trans person getting you the axe just like FOH. I don't feel like bleeding through that kind of a slow death. I don't feel like losing people until they ever so slightly turn up the censorship until we finally move, minus fedor and his like, and pray that the people MMORPG censorship hit first find their way back to us later.

Lastly, even IF nothing is coming, even IF they never do get involved here, that is still the "best" option - nothing. There is zero chance of our new overlords having a positive impact on this community, given their overtly opposed viewpoints. Any involvement by them is liable to be negative. That means staying here gives us zero opportunity to have a positive administration presence, with things like forum overhauls (eg mobile friendly) or new subforums or moderator control. There's just no up side to being here. Our choices range from getting shit on to getting nothing good or bad. That's a garbage range of options.

Count me in (for what little that is worth) as fully behind bailing. #rerexit all the way.

Anyone who is balking who hasn't even tried going to the new forum and at least seeing how much better it already is with just a few days work by a_skeleton_03 and our input being taken seriously, is just contrarian shitposting and needs to GTFO.

the original foh site in its final year, my browsers wouldnt even let me access it without a giant ass red malware warning page telling me that if i continued i would be fucking my computer in the asshole. i did it anyway and yeah i got malware on my pc and it completely shit the bed by the time superstorm sandy clobbered my electricity for a week.after that i bought a new pc, got a shitload of virus software and have several adblockers on and a_skeleton_03's site checks out. its super fast. i dont like tyen, but unless he starts posting where i post and he gets some kind of mod status, then its out of sight out of mind IMO. mods will be elected by us. i doubt anyone is going to nominate that fuckstick for anything. hopefully we nominate to shitcan his ass right out of the community.

On average this forum has around 140 active users on at any time, and the guests make up the rest. There's usually like 360ish "people" online on average during the day. I know that simply from looking at it, so I can't like prove that shit with any screencaps or anything, but that's about average.

Most of hte 94 members logged in here are logged in at both places. I'd be willing to bet on that.

So yeah.

I dunno. If you haven't been convinced yet, then that's fine, but most of us over there just kinda think you're being contrarian for the sake of contrarianess (which is fine) or just outright silly at this point.
