If you want a good VR game, the Solus Project is supposed to be super immersive with VR. I've actually held off on buying the game because I'm assessing if I'll ever buy VR to play it that way instead :p

Battlefield 1 is my hypiest game so far, but I've played 0 BF games so I'm due to give it a shot. Dishonored 2 might be good but I had a big one-and-done issue with the first one so we'll see.

What is the chance that we will see a new gen Vive around the time when they release these games? I am considering buying into VR, but usualy the second generation is a better buy.

Titallfall 2 and Prey for me. I'm looking forward to Dishonored 2 and Battlefield 1 but I didn't see anything that surprised me their presentations.

Maybe it's just me, I am sure it is, but Dishonored 2 looked boring. Maybe it was the guy who was giving the side note play by play. Seriously damn near put me to sleep.

I like E3 primarily because it makes the week go by quicker, I rarely give into the hype though.

Just don't be a sucker. I enjoy watching E3 and seeing the hype, but I don't ever preorder shit, so I'm never too worried about "falling for the hype".

You might try one of the live twitch commentary streams. I'll probably watch the Dropped Frames one(itmejp, cohhcarnage, dodger, strippn). Totalbiscuit has a snark stream and a bunch of other streams do the same.

I didn't actually watch the gameplay so I can't comment on that, but Dishonored 1 was boring to watch for sure because it's stealthy and plodding more so, unless you go for the chaos shoot-them-all-rats-everywhere type of style which IS flashy but definitely not the "main" way to play the game.

I should probably give dishonored another go. Not sure what happened, but when I originally played it I just couldn't get into it.

For such a loved game I found Dishonored so fucking tedious to play. I'll buy Dishonored 2 when it drops to like $7.50 on steam.

So listening to a pre show this morning, they broke down to who will win E3 and that it is whoever announces RDR2. Pretty much 100% agree.

I really hope this Quake Champions is just a prelude to an actual Quake reboot. They did really well with Doom this year, for the single player campaign at least, so I would think Quake would do just as well.

Some of the fears I heard yesterday is that Quake Champions might be a hero shooter and not a traditional arena shooter. We'll have to wait and see.

I think with the success of OW I wouldn't be shocked to see a ton of hero shooters come out in the new few years

no Mass Effect trilogy remaster
no PS 4k announcement probably

I don't really get hyped for much, if the game is > 6 months out I don't even think about it

Yeah, I have kinda stopped caring about when games release until there's an opportunity to play in a beta or they're just a few weeks out.

More interested in the ecosystem changes (Win10, remote play, etc) that have a bigger impact than a single release.

Here is where all the Microsoft employees cheer like crazy but in all reality everyone knows the X1 is still a shitty console now in a smaller package. And if anything, we all saw what happened with the Quantum Break debacle and it's PC release.
