Ok Microsoft, you did a decent job. Scalebound and Sea of Thieves are the only games that personally have my attention, but the cross play and the way they're handling the whole console upgrade thing sound good.

So a really beefy new Xbox One for "Project Scorpio", but if Im a developer and stuck having to try and design for both the older system and the new its going to be just like the stuff we've seen for the past couple of years. Sure they can do nicer graphics on the Project Scorpio (PS...) but ultimately gameplay is going to be limited by texture loading and such from the older machine.

By the way, what the fuck is a teraflop? Granted, I'm not a computer expert or anything like that, but I'm fairly literate in the lingo, and I've never heard "flop" as a unit of measurement.

Its basically a measure of the CPU's power. Just google the word. Its just how quick it can do some math. Least common denominator development. I do not see a lot of people spending the resources to do anything but upscale to 4k from X1 development, or a few simple switches here and there to support native 4k/1080p without dynamic scaling.
