depends on the FPS. Anthem, possibly yes. Destiny 2, no because PS4 will have exclusive stuff (strike, loot) plus the community is a bit larger on PS4.

Call of Duty and Battlefront 2 will be the interesting ones, haven't heard much yet on exclusive content and/or how the ps4 pro and X versions will run

but yeah for 2018 I may slowly switch multiplats like Wolfenstein to X (or PC), especially for any games that are cross play like Mordor 2. I'd expect a PS5 though at E3 2018 which is 30-50% faster than an xbox one X, and that kind of 3-4 year progressive upgrades from now on out.

The God of War reboot looks promising. Hopefully they make the kid more interesting than the invincible walking spoiler in Bioshock Infinite.

Also it's been pointed out by many people here that many people don't have a choice what they play on. They play on the system their friends play. You might want to get a MP game for Scorpio but if your friends are all on playstations then that is what you get. Single player games sure but your circle of friends influences what system you choose for MP.

Me? The infallible Sony E3 was lackluster. It's not a big deal.

God of war looked great but Days gone and Spiderman were GameFly rentals for me.

Uncharted and HZD DLC was the best part outside Skyrim VR.( Skyrim VR is sarcasm)

Which was pretty and fun. Wasn't amazing that's for sure. This is Spiderman though. The prior Infamous games were tons of fun too.

Infamous was pretty and fun to a degree. Very repetitive at the end after the powers got used. Anyways we'll see nothing super stoked about outside HZD / UC DLC which is more than I can say about Xbox.

Yeah, I said E3 was lackluster this year, I agree with that. But at least if Sony didn't have a bunch of stuff to show that they wanted to save for later, they had a fast E3 for once and just got to business without a ton of shitty scared ass devs standing there demo'ing their games as in years past or MICROSOFT this year.

MS can't get out of their own way, we all own gaming PC's, we all WANT them to make their shit worth owning. Why am I buying a $499 Scorpio? They didn't come close to answering that question.

This was a massive turnoff and those games looked gimmicky but they gotta try and sell it somewhere. I think this transition was when I starting to lose interest after Skyrim VR.

I agree it was lackluster, but not because the games they showed were bad. There was just nothing new. TLoU2 being missing was disappointing, and so was RDR2 but that isn't their game so it was up to Rockstar if they wanted to show it.

Spider-Man came across as a more light hearted and bright Batman game. It might be bad, but nothing shown in the video points towards it. Same with Days Gone, that's going to be a game that depends on the story which you can't really get from a trailer.

Compared to MS where what they showed was pretty much just bad.

Yeah I just dunno how they thought this VR thing would play out. Expensive, niche, shallow/short experiences, nausea...

Personally I'm ok with them pushing it, I wouldn't mind jumping in once the kinks have been ironed out and there are some real must play experiences. I fear the reality will be more like what happened with 3D or the Vita though.

I'll take showing games releasing before the next E3 to 30 seconds of teaser bullshots for something coming out in maybe 2020, you guys are nuts. The biggest complaint I had from last years' E3 was nothing was going to come out for like 2-3 years except FO4 which they got praise for actually showing a game that is coming out soon. This time almost all the games shown are coming in less than a year and it's "lackluster" this and "shitpile" that :p

I thought Detroit was going to be more of a Sherlock choose-your-own-adventure thing so kinda disappointed with that, but it'll stay on my list as a probably reason to buy a PS4. Horizon turned out great so still waiting on GoW, Detroit, but honestly remade Shadow of the Colossus might be worth the few hundred to me so I think Sony wins my money.

Everything else I'll just buy on PC.

Edit: Bethesda is a bunch of fucking tools, everyone can agree on that at least.
