Shield slot? Aka bottom row?The requirement is 10 faith and I have 12. I can equip the incantation and the finger. But not on the left hand.
margit spoilers
I found Godrick way harder than Margit. It was super hard to get in there and do damage, since I have zero range damage.
I got Margit moves down well enough. But I’m not trying to cheese any bosses my first run. Trying to play it straight as dodge Str melee (e.g., no bleed, no summons, no shield).
He's way too hard without doing some extra tricks, which is probably close to how most new players would play him (they probably prefer to use a shield, however).
right outside liftside chamber. we might be talking about the same place. you gotta be pretty close to the dudes on the flame machines for them to assist thoWhere is this place exactly? I don't know if I've even met Rodrick.
Morne Castle also has a few enemies with their back to you when you go up the elevator. They DO assist though so you can really only pick off one of them. I ended up sticking to that one giant on the bridge for a bit when I needed an extra couple levels, but now it's too slow.
How was this cheesing the boss when it was just using dodge and parry at the correct timesI got Margit moves down well enough. But I’m not trying to cheese any bosses my first run.
where? I've never summoned any players and wanted to give it a rip but couldn't find anything. I used the Furcalling Finger RemedyWhen you get ported to beastial dude the first bon fire nesr the bridge(dragon patrol) has tons of people looking to be summoned. U can get in groups to farm the route and nets u around 18 to 20k soul easy. A +1 goldberg should oneshot bs each mob when you get a hang of it. Route is nicely spaced out when u note the spawns.
Parry can be cheesing too. DS1 Gwyn can be parried but he's a joke of a fight if you parry. Imagine if DS3 Nameless King was parryable, it would make him a MUCH easier boss. How was this cheesing the boss when it was just using dodge and parry at the correct times
Rodericka's quest line. Talk to her at her shack outside of Stormveil, exhaust all dialogue. She will have you retrieve a note from inside Stormveil. It is on the pile of corpses in the room with the giant strung up and the dogs feasting on remains. Go back to her shack to get loot and notice she is gone. She is now in Round Table Hold. Talk to her, talk to blacksmith, talk to her, talk to blacksmith again I believe. Reload zone and she is now a merchant across from blacksmith and will level your summons.I’m one who feels like it kinda sucks, I’ve never seen it poison anyone. I use it because it usually lasts the longest in a fight since it’s not getting in melee range. Maybe if there were two so the poison would trigger before the fights over I’d think it was cool. Or even if it triggered a little easier. Is there a way to upgrade the summons?
Ah ok. I think I found that already just haven’t talked back and forth yet.Rodericka's quest line. Talk to her at her shack outside of Stormveil, exhaust all dialogue. Using weapons, armor, and dodging is cheesing. Git gud fgtParry can be cheesing too. DS1 Gwyn can be parried but he's a joke of a fight if you parry. Imagine if DS3 Nameless King was parryable, it would make him a MUCH easier boss.
"BuT iTs NoT cHeEsE iF iTs In ThE gAmE. iTs InTeNdEd." Summons, shields, parries, stagger cheese, overleveling are all there to provide adjustable difficulty for those that need it. They are in-game options of adjusting the game from hard mode to normal to easy.
I haven't fought Margit as dodge+parry but purely dodging takes too long to kill him. This is coming from someone who solos DS3 Midir as a pyromancer using 1-h weapon (which we all know is a pretty long fight and, unfortunate for me, dragons are resistant to fire) but Midir is a fair fight at that point in the game.
