Love darkwave. +1 internetsHeard this tune today, really liked it. It's obviously old though.
Little late but there is also a third part out called "Not Another UKF Dubstep Tutorial"Hoping you guys can help me out-
Heard A Brief Introduction to Dubstep on the FoH boards awhile back. Been one of my favorites ever since. Brother in law came into town this weekend and told me he heard a second part of it on Pandora. It starts at 2:52. What's the name so i can find on iTunes?
Was there as well. Neon Garden was probably the best spot. Made the mistake of getting right in the middle of Kinect Field for Porter Robinson and didn't really enjoy it because there was non-stop conga lines going in and out with about 30 people at a time. Lots of bumping around from some tripped out fuckers.EDC was fucking amazing. One of the best weekends of my life, if not THE best. Highlights were Eric Prydz, Sasha, Carl Cox, and Mat Zo. John Digweed and Jamie Jones were also pretty damn good. The Neon Garden stage was phenomenal, and my only regret is not discovering it till mid-way on Saturday. Smaller stage and almost every single person there didn't give a shit about anything else but getting down as hard as they could. No bros, no creeps, no one crowding your shit. I learned a lot about my music taste and have some thoughts on the EDM culture in the states, as someone who is pretty new to the genre but also a pretty big outsider to the budding bro-culture that's formed around it. I'll type up more when I have time & energy, but just wanted to mention it and sorta remind myself to do it.
Thats how it used to be up until a few years ago.Is it sad that it is refreshing to hear a DJ play music that's not his when hearing them live at a festival or otherwise?
Currently at Paradiso Festival and while Porter Robinson played a fun set it was basically all his own music whereas Tiesto, who came on after him, has been mixing in a wide variety of music from various artists along with a healthy dose of his own stuff over his two hour set.
