I dunno, can you move that amount of krono and not be noticed? I would think it's a pretty big red flag. Big difference between that and the guy selling a few here and there.

Some of these other guys in here have hinted at it. But the Krono grind isn't relegated to just the TLP. The guy selling high end pottery idols and all jewelry in EC all the time (Theking)? He's a known krono farmer across EQ named Besteva I'm told and corners the markets on things like BAM and tradeskills as quickly as possible. I think Korrupt Korrupt even said he had several hundred krono. It doesn't seem to be abnormal.

I mean, I guess its nefarious but he provides nice stuff and is reasonable to play the merchant game with. He also doesn't seem to deal with the Djarn camp at all.

The problem with zaides approach to his guild members is there's no repercussions for his guild members being assholes as long as these said assholes can show up to get their raid loot. You start taking away raid loot and people might think twice about being a douchebag over some shitty dungeon loot.

But I doubt he cares enough to worry about that when he most likely plays a handful of hours a week and only for raids.

So let the dogs shit all over the lawn, he's not living there.

He did efreeti on LJ all the time. He also did a lot of other things though, cause he was running like 24-36 mages on LJ after the first 6.

Now he seems to just do BAMs.

No because 95% of tells for complaints about random dungeon drama is so over dramatized it's funny. People will say they have been at a camp for HOURS yet just got there, or will be a full spawn but get upset if you move in and kill etc.

I'm sorry some of you have had crappy encounters with folks.

The folks I've been grouping with from Faceless haven't jacked anyones camp and have been pretty damn friendly.

When Dulu was on teamspeak the other day I ripped him a new asshole for fucking with those people. He kept trying to justifying it saying he "needed" it for a quest. I was like sorry that shit doesn't fly, you are a fucking asshole, learn how to get along with the community and stop giving us a bad name.

And this is Sorrows the clr/ench that farmed FGs on phinigel? The one that would rage bind rush train people that would ATTEMPT to DPS race? frownface. Faceless is a who's who. At least youve changed your ways and accepted people can dps race you instead of getting offended and training.

If not you then <3

I had a dude rage at me in tells. Follow me via track (faggot druid) and sit in front of me while I medded up for 20 minutes because I, "stole a hill giant from him and he has all day." Then bet me money that I wouldn't get a single giant while he was there. I got 6 others in front of him and logged though lol.

The pettiness is real.

Someone in guild mentioned besteva, who boxes huge army on LJ and does the idols first on every TLP not to mention other tradeskills, has hundreds and hundreds of krono(think it was said like 900+) but wont sell them because its pretty damn obvious and selling small amounts over time would take forever and not worth it.

Most krono I moved was 200 at once but that was on phinigel, on agnarr they seem to be monitoring large movements right now, id say anything bigger than 10 at once tbh without trading anything in return is fishy. i think your level is also a factor.

Nope not me. Agnarr is my first TLP server.

I started on karana server at launch and started over when the luclin server opened. I ran the guild <Sorrows End> that later reformed as <Legacy of Sorrows>. I played a druid and necro in classic and then went iksar monk in kunark. When luclin launched I rerolled as an iksar beastlord. I transferred over to the EU venril sathir server and raided with <Mortalis> and <Tide> for pop-god on my beastlord Xeoo.
I quit in 2004 the first night I played the wow beta. Except for a two week stint in 2011 playing with some friends in TR I haven't touched EQ in ages.

I see how a lot of the aggressive folks act in game about spawns and such and I think back to how many of us acted years ago. Sometimes it's a sobering reminder of when I was a dick to people in games over the years. Most times though its good to just smile and try to show them a better example. I've actually really enjoyed being nice to people on Agnarr. WoW really took away the community feel of these games and this server has helped patch that a bit.

Not hard to see why. If you're able to cheat, steal and grief your way into 700 krono and then sell them at even $9 a pop on the grey market that's not bad (assuming you have limited or no other income I mean). The retards who fight over Djarn for a few krono are the small fish about it though. Bottom of the barrel is the dudes who fight over hill giants/seafuries so they can get a krono/month and play for free.

The "kings" of the krono market MUST be the dudes who corner the high end tradeskill markets in the opening week of the game.

I dunno man. I was just doing it at first to get my own pair of GEB's and then to get Kharzette some GEB's and then to get my Ring and in the process I realized I was able to make a lot of Kronos. After a bad 4 hours where I only had 2 Djarns I added it up out of curiosity and even during bad drop rates of 1 GEB's per 2 hours, you're still talking better than minimum wage for selling a Krono on the grey market. 2-3 kronos per GEB's. Most for 3 kronos. 6 Kronos in 4 hours, $8-9 per krono for a total of $48-54 = $12-13/hr.. tax free.. in the comfort of your own home. I was shocked at how good the money was. I didn't RMT and I stopped farming them after like 30 Kronos because of boredom and the chaos there, but fuck. And that's with ONE account. With 6 you can force a new instance and monopolize it many times of the day (because your 6 can be the clencher on whether a new instance opens/closes). I witnessed someone doing this to constantly respawn Rokyl every 15 minutes. If he got a Rokyl's Channeling Crystal every 4 drops and sold the loot rights to the Mask the other 3, that is insane bank.

I do agree that the tradeskillers probably make more once efreeti becomes more contested and other spawns more contested, but that does dry up eventually and the competition hits hard fast after a few more people max and compete. I think the real top dogs are people that buy/resell. That's how I was always super rich back in the day. Sitting in North freeport buying low and selling higher, but still lowest on market made me fortunes. I was better geared than every Druid but the top 2 raiding druids. Even ended up with 1 of 2 of FoH's Robe of the Springs lol. That was from a 44 Druid fucking around in NFP, dealing in items worth up to 500+k in Kunark era.

Kind of but we can race change, sex change and name change if we get bad rep.

Yeah you can account to account transfer a char, and change everything about it, yet they dont want RMT. But if you get banned for doing that you wont get your money back, lulz.

I really hate that I have no idea how to get around in Guk/solB in this game. I played from Luclin to PoP on live so I never went to those zones. If someone invited me to any camp in Lguk I'd have no idea how to get to them.

If you paid more in taxes you could use USPS

I ship everything USPS (I love usps), but my packages are general all 3 lbs or less, USPS is a way better deal for lower weight. Now my incoming packages weigh anywhere from 30-80lbs. UPS is much better bang for buck.

On USPS note, dont use amazon to sell. Sold my PS4 there and learned of their new shitty policy about holding your funds til the latest "estimated" delivery date + 7 days. I sold and delivered my ps4 with confirmed tracking June 8th, but these assholes tell me their estimated delivery is June 26 and they dont care what my tracking says, and I wont get paid until July 4th. Fuckers.

The problem is the in game maps create an issue where you just stare at the map while you navigate and you don't actually learn how to get anywhere. I still remember how to get to lguk from uguk all these years later. Or to get to Alchemist camp in Permafrost (Mammoth Hide Cloak/legs) after all these years, or to navigate Sirens's Grotto to West Wastes, and that's because I learned it manually/visually. Yet now I can't tell you how the fuck I get around the new freeport despite the fact I should know by now! And it's because I stare at that damn map while I navigate. maps are a curse. If you want to learn where shit is, use maps extremely minimally. You'll have trial and error that way and you'll fuck up and get lost, but that's how you learn. Plus staring at a map just isn't fun.

That said brewall's maps did help me learn how to get to some camps I never did back in the day like live side guk. So use them in combination with the above advice and you'll be good.
