Just rummaged through an old backpack and found a 2000 era Classic-Velious paper map, two Luclin's, and a Planes of Power. All in very solid shape. Guess I grabbed them before my parents moved from our childhood home... Sorta pissed I didn't grab any of the cloth maps or boxes. Had some old beta discs as well. Oh well, RIP.

Yep, looks the same. I guess no one had a go at it. My mistake.
They one in the box looks like a cleaner paint job, you can see it in the scales on his legs.
I saw one of these in a gamestop. Didn't look like it was worth what they wanted though. But i guess they were worth it to you. Nice collection.

I found this old image from a showcase at the 2000 ComicCon, looks like there were different model Dark Elf and Gnoll action figure prototypes at one point, if anyone was able to get a hold of these it would be a real holy grail of EQ collecting degeneracy.
the Gnoll on the right seems to be a Torn Ear Gnoll (Paw revamp Gnoll) but the press release describes it as a “Tier Dal Gnoll”. The other DE model looks like a comic style take on the DE instead of the game style they went with in the end.
Press Release:
“The first assortment of action figures based on the immensely-popular online game Everquest will arrive in stores this November. The line will be available at comic and specialty stores, as well as Babbages, Software, Etc., and Frys Electronics.
The first series consists of the Splitpaw Gnoll, Iksar, Troll in Leather Armor,Female Dark Elf and the Tier Dal Gnoll. This line is going to be chok full of cool accessories, including various weapons and smaller monsters such as the Jungle Spiderling, Rock Spiderling, and Undead Froglok. It hasn't been fully decided yet which accessories will go with which figures, but many of them will be interchangeable.
Toy Vault is also developing seperately available armor sets for the Troll and that can be snapped on to the figures.”
