The SK tanking should be /disc fearless on incoming and then darknessing when in range, HTing once in range again, and then standing there without attacking casting DoTs and darkness alternated. Nothing should ever pull it off of a SK Tank. Mallets are actually still around 400 threat per charge but when one heal does 1k x6 you,re dealing with 3x threat generated from popping a full mallet.

Nope, I just pop Lynuga and destroy them as they are handed to me. When I run out of charges I just reclaim them.

OGC claims they dont allow training, but you need evidence. I had videos of nollo training and showed finchy, he said nollo will never bother me again and if he does he'll be kicked. Of course I did nothing to warrant nollo training me, he just doesnt like mage boxers as he said months ago when I first met him. I assume if you do the same for jacks it could happen. He seems to always camp hierophant with his cleric though, he has a necro i believe and cusses like a sailor, seems very easy to get him to train ya.

Dima is no stranger to shitty behavior and training. Should have seen the shitshow at a couple of Broken Golems.

Soooo I'm in a newerish guild and most of these guys don't have progression experience (nor do I--not since sleeper anyway) and I'm curious about AE timers on dodgeable AEs. Are you guys using something like Gina for automated timers for DTs, AEs or is there a better way? And are the AE timers the same between kunark dragons (trak, gore, tal, vp etc.) or do they have varying timers on their AEs? Was 18 or 24 seconds on P99, though very few were hideable (and none of the strats really allowed for it) but with VP being an indoor zone here and trak being a more controlled engage I'd be happy to know these things :3

edit: Also, is there a specific AE / pause macro that can be cycled for automating the AE calling process even further? Something macro keyboardy with perfect pause #s / delay #s

I use GINA, as there seems to be a variance in their AE's so when you have a raid leader using GINA, he might be saying hold for 1 sec (waiting for ae) or for a few seconds. It just gets frustrating at that point, where it's easier if people have their own GINA triggers so they know exactly when the AE's go off and can run in, while continuining to have a count down timer from GINA on their screen to know about when the AE will go off (usually you can get out early at 1-2 sec left since it's not always an exact time)

I had someone share the timers to me but I think the times are pretty similar among vp/kunark dragons. Once you have a bard in group you can mostly forget about dodging and resist most things though, at least if you're high dps class that's awarded a bard in group.

Trak is iffy, if you have enough dps you can eat the AE and heal everyone after. As a necro I don't dodge it, on my monk on ragefire I didnt dodge it and would get a cure after. Some guilds ask members to bring poison cure potions also (ethira's poison antidote)

Not sure on the cycling macro, you'd just have to press it when GINA says the ae went off, which against wont be the same exact time everytime but GINA looks for keywords in your character's log so you could also use audio triggers but you wont get that countdown timer on your screen that GINA can do, it also will text to speech for ya. I like it for when I fizzle, resist, lose jboots or get a tell also.

I can share my gina with ya, it'll include some further down expansions but you can trim it out/disable.

It seems like they smoothed out the lower levels a little bit. I've solo'd 1-14 relatively quickly with my new shaman. I think 40+ is when it really starts to suck.

The experience rate doesn't become a big issue really until the 40s. That's when you start noticing it on your alts. When you hit 50, its like driving in to a brick wall though. Post 50 is bad.

Xp is shit but luckily it is compensated by a huge group bonus. Set goals and don't expect to hit 60 in a month if you have a job. It's a rite of passage that everyone has to go through, the server is extremely healthy and has at least a year of content that will keep the server flourishing and relevant.

It'll take you a bit to find what class you really want to play and then it's all gravy.

Experience is fine, just don't plan on soloing 40+. It's super not worth it -- even PLing is kinda egh 40+.
