Zland is a total and complete joke. So is Yelinak, Sont isn't hard but out door dragons just suck a bit more so I think killing him with less than 30 would be a stretch, atleast until the raid force is geared out with resist and hp ntov stuff, but at that point WW isn't even worth doing at all.
A few of those NTOV dragons just have obnoxious amounts of HP, nothing about lady nev is hard, with a few necros you can literally sustain the fight forever, but the mechanics of the boss and the fact she has so much HP makes it a marathon in tedium. In another month I think it will be a different ballgame. Everyone is getting massive amounts of upgrades right now, I think it will be surprising how easy NTOV feels in a month, ditto with AOW, a tank in full ntov armor vs him is a world different than a scrub in cobalt.

Also, I have a level 40 necro alt who has done nothing but solo up to this point. There are literally like...no other options to solo from 40-60? I've spent days running around to different outdoor zones looking for reds/yellows to kite and there just aren't any. At best there is seafuries that are even/yellow and even that is abysmal. Do they not want people to level alts? Where do low 40's group nowadays? I don't wanna run my ass all over kunark only to find an abandoned dungeon.

Ya as a necro I started to dot, got tired of spinning (yes i know sit trick) and ended up mana batterying the rest of the fight anyway, as it was needed. But yeah once people get more resists sure I can see it going faster. We been trying to gear up but getting ETOV is annoying (thanks dbag games)

That particular fight is a marathon because anyone in LOS will be stunned 75% of the time. Clerics without mana = dead raid.
Just happens to suck because of the way DBG re-tuned resists for TLP servers. It's damn near impossible to resist and its 9 sec duration stun on a 12 sec timer.
As I said earlier in the thread, Vyemm and Nev are the toughest fights in all of Velious.
Vyemm is going to get massively easier each week for any guild that clears tov every week since the only real thing making the fight hard is tanks getting killed in the time between a fling and when the heals start landing again, make the tanks a bit beefier so they can last a couple seconds longer and suddenly the fight isn't so hard.
I also don't mind necro pumping on some fights, it is way more than +20% mana, it is probably increasing a single clerics potential healing output by atleast 60%, and the fact that you can use the necros to smooth out fights and make sure there are no gaps in the heal chains is big. On a lot of fights where everything other than fire and splurt is resisted a ton I end up with extra mana anyway that I can either use for pumps or try to land some other kind of dot which is usually a 50/50 shot at being resisted.
One thing that really pisses me off in velious right now is on half these fights the ultra shitty swarm pets like wizard sword end up being better than a mage pet because the MOTOWs debuff is so retarded.

Fighting it on the spawn? Push sucks, interrupt sucks, hp is generally too high to burn.
That sounds exhausting. I think for most people just keeping up with the instanced content is plenty of raid time. Though I imagine you guys have the #s and gear to make this all go somewhat faster.
