Overview: Sometime in the 22nd century, humans have fully terraformed and colonized Venus and Mars. The Neosapiens, an artificially engineered race created to be slaves for the Terrans, have turned against their masters and formed the Neosapien Order/Empire/Commonwealth. Under the rule of the calculating Governor General Phaeton, the Neosapiens have launched an invasion of Earth and Venus. The ExoFleet, the Homeworlds' space navy (in particular, Able Squad, a group of Exo-Frame pilots led by Lieutenant J.T. Marsh), fight against the invasion in an interplanetary war to protect the Terrans.

Exosquad was awesome, though. I'm pretty sure I still have one of the exosuit toys buried somewhere. It had a spring loaded grapple hook I think.

i remember waking up early like 7 or 6am, it was after the infomercial or paid programming time

and i kept waking up even after the s2 ending

The ep Defying Olympus and this scene in particular always stuck with me. Shame the exo suits forming some kind of bond with their operator was never explored on.

Humans are great creators but often unaware of the consequences of their gift. Man if this isn't true.

Fucking a, rando toy commercial was the best cartoon of the 90s. After rewatching it about the the only fault in it was the neowarriors, those things really didnt fit with how high brow the show was.

Its streaming on peacock if youre subbed.

I bought a handful of these toys as a kid. Stupid purple neosapien mechs.

Looking back, what a fucking advanced subject matter story for a basis for a toy show. Normally you got shit like "Ok so we designed a bunch of mech warriors lets have them fight some bad guy" and here they went full "Ok so humanity is at its breaking point after massive expansion to the galaxy. Many humans are rebelling against thestate authority. To help combat the rebelling factions humans genetically create a race of giant, powerful slaves that then rebel themselves. Our main characters are front line military responders to try to crush rebellion and slave revolts on behalf of the authoritarian government. Plus there are cool mechs"
