Winning by 2 with Deangelo left to play. Do I bench him? It's the smart move right?

I keep wanting to say play him considering how many times I've seen season end tie breakers come down to just a few points. I'd feel real shitty if the unthinkable happens and he gets crushed first run of the game, fumbles, and is carted off the field.

My guess is the odds of him scoring negative 2 are probably very similar to the probability of a scoring adjustment losing you 2 points or increasing your opponent's score by 2!

I'd bench him in the playoffs. You might need the scoring differential as a tie-breaker to even get into the playoffs, so I'd play him.

Is it too early to freak out about Devonta Freeman? I did one of those, oh now all the RB's are going and I remember him killing it last year in PPR. My RB situation blows, Devonta Freeman, Jonathan Stewart (kinda crappy in ppr), Arian Foster (had a decent game against seachickens), Spencer Ware (obvious problem with Charles coming back sooner or later), and Gionvani Bernard. (seems like a backup on the bengals?)

Tevin Coleman and Theo Riddick are on waivers but I'm at #4.

Thinking I drop Bernard and try to get Riddick. Possibly try to trade a RB with Eric Ebron or something to get a better RB? Mark Ingram since he under-performed in week 1?

As far as WR I have Hopkins, Keenan Allen, Jordy Nelson, and Emmanuel Sanders. Gotta replace Keenan but its a 2 WR, 1 Flex league.

Tajae Sharp and Will Fuller are out there on waivers too.

Wouldn't give up on freeman yet but I'd grab Coleman fast. Foster is going to make your lineup if not this week, next. Until he gets hurt of course. You're still looking good at WR but if one of those guys make it past waivers you obviously need to grab.

My homer pickup but Nelson Agholor should see a lot of targets going forward with Wentz. I'd take Wallace over him tho.

Tough call, Fuller looks like the real deal but Sharpe vs that Detroit D that just gave up 8 million fantasy points to the Colts looks tasty.

When you guys look for WR's on the wire what do you look for? Do you try to get the guy who tends to find the end zone, or the guy who gets the most targets? I know PPR influences this some, but in general what are peoples thoughts? Like Cole Beasley has low ownership, caught 8 of 12 targets for 65 yards. Fluke or worth a look? Or do you just take someone like Eli Rodgers who caught 6 of his 7 for 59 but got a TD?

It's a combination of things for me. If it's a PPR league, i look at receptions followed by targets, yards, TDs. If it's a non-PPR i look at avg yards per game and use TDs and targets/receptions, who's their QB, etc. when deciding between 2 or more even players - i want the guy who will consistently get more looks. For example, i would take the #1 or #2 WR for the Saints over KC any day because i know Brees airs it regardless of score vs. king checkdown who only airs it out if they are behind. If i am waiver wire hunting for a veteran, I tend to try to go for a guy i can rely on getting 6-8 weekly points over a guy who may put up 18 one week and 2 points for the next 3 weeks. I actually sort of like Cole Beasley with Prescott at the helm, since he is a young QB i think he will check down to a safer route more than trying to thread the needle to Dez like Romo would. I just roll the dice sometimes on a rookie or second year player who is getting a lot of looks due to starter injury and hope for the best. This generally works out well for me.

Basically what Reht said, QB and the kind of offense they are in plays a big part of it as well.

I have a good feeling about Eli Rogers and placed a claim on him in every league I'm in.

Yea, someone jacked him in all my leagues. I told everyone about him before the season started, and people were like who??? When Todd Haley says he's the best pure slot receiver he's ever coached people should listen.

What 2 RBs for this week? I've got Forte locked in but I'm waffling all over the place for my RB2 and flex. Flex is currently Doug Baldwin but I don't love him against the Rams. They always play Seattle tough.

Rams secondary is a fucking mess atm but the Lambs are playing their home opener so who knows, I'd probably stick with Baldwin unless you had an obvious better choice. (doesnt help that Wilson might be gimpy)
