Played some more after my last post. None of the mechanics I encountered in the game were difficult. This is honestly going to be a pass for me. It's the WoW endgame gear grind but with a smaller community. The premise sounds cool but they don't have the budget WoW does and it shows.

Too many body type 1s trying to be body type 2s

biggest wtf, aside from the freak dev in the trailer, are the set hero classes. I guess they can't handle the idea of the player making a female healer or male tank.

Yea game feels a bit sterile. I love the idea, but choosing WoW M+ style dungeons for this concept is a big L IMO. I would argue even doing something like dropping matchmaking entirely, and opening up the hub to have some amount of "overworld" between dungeons... keep it light, but have a lobby system kinda like Diablo 2. Allow a filter for game owner to set what they're looking for class wise... and make this a lot less like modern WoW, and more like classic WoW in regards to pacing a classes and you've got a winner.

That would lean a lot more into the MMO-lite vibe they're going for imo.

So basically... it's just M+ the game, they added nothing new or interesting.

Asmongold appropriately said what I was thinking when I watched his video - this just makes me want to play WoW Retail and thats... a big pill to swallow.
