As a tank he's fairly middling, if you have pretty much any other quality tank unit they will be better than him. His TM shield though is pretty spiffy, I'd recommend farming that up for your current tank, I use it over Wilhelms TMR shield these days more often than not.

Also - $45.99 USD for the "cash summon", fuck that noise, Gumi is really overreaching with this....

Gladiolus is an ok 6* tank, but at 7* things change a lot and he becomes quit good.

$46 for a guarantee 5*, Gumi is out of their mind.

If you converted it to lapis it's not as bad as people are making it out to be, but the fact that you can't just use lapis to get it is a slap in the face.

Trying to make some decisions here. What would you do?

You have 300% in Moogles saved up. You're a lazy TM farmer and only do it when you have 5x each of a couple different units. You're pretty set on gear and units currently.

Would you drop these on Setzer/Cloud/Elfreeda -or- your dupe 5 stars that you will be turning to 7 stars in the future because you're lazy and mostly rely on Moogles for TMs?

Input is appreciated~

You should keep saving them and wait until you try to beat a trial and fail. Then use the moogles to help fix whatever's giving you trouble in the latest fight you can't beat.

After seeing the ridiculous price of the rainbow pull.... nope.

And yeah, about the summon. lol, so far I've spent 15 bucks on this game over 3 months now. I'll buy the little 4 dollar packs if they are a good deal (Didn't buy the latest one, was a shit pack). But that's it. That's normally my deal with phone games, I'll pay about what I'd pay to subscribe to an MMO if the game is fun, and I do like the way this game is set up with challenges and all.

That said, 45 dollars for a random 5 star? They are smoking crack. If I was spending money I'd much rather get the 8500 lapis, take a shot at getting a 5 star naturally with the normal 11 pull, and then use the other 3k lapis for TMR farming--which will get you much father anyway.

The only other mobile game Ive really played was puzzles and dragons and I probo spent like 20-40 a month on average. I think Ive spent like $20 total in the 7-8 months with ffbe, on those cheap bundles. I enjoy the game but with the previously horrendous diamond rates and all the buggy shit and crappy banners lately I have no urge whatsoever to spend any real money. Gumi needs to get their shit together. I could see myself buying some lapis if they bring over the Sephiroth banner that JP had, but Im sure theyll fuck that up too

So, for Arena...I noticed PG Laswell's excorcising move hits 4 times with dual wield, which seems really ridiculously powerful. I was wondering what other units have abilities that count as actual separate attacks AND are AE. (I know Barrage and a couple of the gambling moves are single target that do this.)

Kryla also seems to be pretty power, after the first round she can also technically hit three times AE--4 times if she has her LB. You can Jinx the two AE dual element spells, and then the next round place a hex out there. Haven't been able to test it though because Hex seems to be banned this week (Think its the magical combo ban?).

The two significant ones are Lasswell and Dark Veritas, Hyou (Hyoh) and Hawke get the same move as DV but it's questionable whether GL will get Hawke since SD3 wasn't released in NA/Europe.

The double dragon fight is kind of dumb since you have to get them both down to 1% and then use the special skill to finish them if you want the missions. I did it with Basch, Tilith, Soleil, Fryevia x3. Hybrid damage is convenient since you don't care about phys or mag immunity foolishness. Video of my clear can be seen Here.

Rewards aren't very strong either.

That seems like an awful lot of work for such middling rewards. Anyone who can succeed in all those missions likely has better than the reward weapons.

I did it just because I'm desperate for another great sword--I have crap given I just began. But you're right, its the most tedious freaking thing ever. I have Basch and Rikku, so it wasn't a huge problem for me to turtle despite my gear, and they go down REALLY fast, but of course you have to stop around 20%-15% or you risk blowing them up (Can auto attack them down a little more.)

The real issue is the abilities don't always show up. I'm guessing sometimes they give it to the same person, so one doesn't get applied? And it totally fucks any planning you can do. Especially for the final hit. I actually spent 4 turns with them down at 1% each, waiting for a round where I got both abilities. Massive pain in the ass, but I think I got really unlucky.

It is actually happening way more than it should. I've seen a lot of people complaining about it. Also, I've seen multiple videos where it happens multiple rounds in a row just like you described. There is definitely a bug.

Earlier this week when the Festival of Love started, I was too busy exploring and not paying attention to the timer and it expired causing me to fail the quest. Didn't think it was a big deal but there was a bug that prevented you from looting the crafting components if you failed your initial attempt. I put in 2 tickets in the past 5 days for this to be corrected and so far I've not received a reply.

Does Gumi just take their sweet ass time getting around to fixing this sort of thing or am I shit out of luck because they don't give a fuck?
