sinzar, as far as other relics to target... that's up to you. you can go for more support relics... i.e.stuff with shellga/protectga, major regen, +res or +def, or one of the many atk+mag debuff SBs, which work well as mitigation because they stack with pretty much everything.

or you can go for BSBs/SSBs that do pure damage. these go really well with Shout. if you go for specific ones here, make sure the character can use Combat 4* for Lifesiphon.

sorry for no advice on specific upcoming banners... i've been making a point to not pay attention to upcoming stuff. i can afford that luxury, tho, since i've been playing so long and am pretty set on gear, and did make a point to min/max for quite awhile before i started playing more casually.

So I pulled four 5* on the first Relic draw of this event, got Lightning's SSB, Hope's 'rang, Serah's armor, and the shared rod (similar to Vanille's and perfect for Serah). After nearly a year of getting shat on by pulls (I had literally 11x11 pulls with zero unique items), finally something good.

qLnH is my friend code if you need an 80 Lightning SSB for this event.

Hmmm... didn't have much time so I just assembled an "A" Team and went... the U+ was way easier than any previous ones. Having a native wall and at least 1 damaging SSB really makes a huge difference...

Helps that Yuffie just got level broken and can now do 5-hit Thief's Raid in any realm. I feel really bad for people without wall or shout... hope the BSB fest treats you guys well.

Oh Cid missions were fun today.

Did the entire event with Edgar/Sabin/Terra/Relm (and Cyan for the one needing Samurai skills). Was really nice to make a team without the restrictions of needing all the things for Shout Meta, looking forward to having them appear in every event soon.

I posted this on reddit, but I'm doing dailies for major/greater orbs and it feels shitty and slow. On the plus side it's letting me build up enough Greens for some 5* accessories. Given I don't have shit for accessories, what accessories should I be going for?

Dailies should be a quick and optional place to dump stamina on off days.

Don't do them if you are new and have dungeons to clear, you'll get more orbs from the dungeons eventually.

Yeah, I'm behind a bit in dungeons. Still in the 80s for regular dungeons difficulty. Haven't really even touched elites yet.

i've been playing a second global account lately, and definitely feel like i'm making the most progress by focusing on dungeons.

stuff sure is easier the second time around, tho.

The nightmare summon, she was kind to me... 6 3*, 3 4* (one of which is combining to a 5*), and 2 5*
I got Rydia's Ice Whip and Aerith's medica rod. Cashed in my last MC2 for Aerith, as I think she'll be my healer bitch unless I get Thyrus (or somehow get wall and take tyro as supportbitch).

got aerith's medica on my alt account, and on my main account got 9 3*s and 1 4*...

should have just saved the mythril on my main account for stamina refreshes during the next orb fest

Lol nothing again! Also out of Summon Orbs and Gil.

At least I now have 7 different element maxed summons for my physical team :/

The mechanics of Neo-Bahamut is actually quite interesting... I have semi-decent hones in Summons but actually found myself defending quite a lot to save hones for the final nuke down. It actually favours a slow and methodical usage of skills rather than just plain nuking his ass down ASAP.

Having Divine Guardian on Garnet helped a ton, which allowed me to run SG as RW. Basically it's nuke with NE / extra summons till his orb phase, nuke 1 weakness and 1 resist per element (for Lightning I think I just nuked with both Ramuh and Ixion) and finally finish it off with remaining NE and other summons. with 2+2+3 charges he will die together with the orbs.

Edit: Apparently Ixion just flat out gives 2 charges for the orbs. Useful since I never made it to his 2nd lightning background.

It's designed the slow way but you can burst it down too, I got it to 50% in the first fire phase and didn't even get an ice orb. Was close though, my health went fairly low.

Anyone else worried about the Cid Missions which start this week? Clear Braska's Final Aeon with 5 FFX characters including Tidus/Yuna/Auron. Thinking retaliate with Wakka and Rikku is pretty much the only choice with my shitty synergy.

I really hope we get that relic event soon. I'm still plugging away at the events that I can handle with my team in the meantime. I watched a video of a guy doing the EX++ fight against the tentacles and he made seem like a complete joke, beating it in 3 rounds. I prepped my team, fished for the same roaming warrior he used and went in. I managed to beat it, getting only expert in the process (lost someone), but it took me so much longer haha. I got the memory crystals, which is the important thing, but man those 15x greater orbs would have really be nice! I'm considering maybe trying again to try for champion rank. If I hadn't had any deaths, I would have been ok.

I recorded my battle to show off how epic my team is (not really...)

We will know on Wednesday, that's usually when new translations drop.

Next two events after Braska should have Wall relics, Big Bridge will probably run parallel with BSB Fest and have Wall/Shout and then it's FF14 which has Y'Shtola's Wall. Think I'm going to have to go with a Tyro Support Wall since you need your healer (Y'Shtola) to actually be healing/aoe healing. I hate Tyro though...

Sinzar, I noticed you didn't use Morphin Time (Gilgamesh's SB) or any boost effects... should really use it the minute it's up. Other than than Hallowed Bolt was a good call for sure. With enough S/L pretty sure you can master it if you bothered
