I'm hoping SE Legal steps in.. just too shove it down there throat of how stupid they are.

"Were not breaking ToS".. you're using there trademark too advertise something in the game... yes you're breaking ToS you fucking degenerates.

Haven't watched the video but there was a thread on reddit about one of the ppl organizing this thing already getting suspended and pending review for a perma ban(because on top of the weirdness of it all, they used a modded character with datamined gear in the ad).

From what I read of that reddit thread, that was for some older stuff that SE finnaly got around too, at the same time they were also showing datamined items in the pictures.

They are lucky they don't live in Japan otherwise they'd be fucked, that is a big no no over there.. Even the guy who spoiled the ShB final boss during StB has been blacklisted from working with gaming companies, and the guy who spoiled the DSR weapons will have the same thing happen too them.

DC Travel opened back up, but it might take up too 30mins they said...

Meanwhile, the people in the FC house are patiently working down the list of names and reporting them all for griefing.

Which knowing the team in charge of that will no doubt lead to a bunch of suspensions and flags on their accounts.

Two people from the nightclub have been interviewed on Asmongold's stream. When asked about the modding they both pleaded "Photoshop" at the end, and when asked about the new summer outfit they flat out told him "you can link those new outfits in chat"--maybe, but you can't take gpose screenshots with those links them. Then they backtracked that they have "photographers" who take those screenshots, so they don't really know.

Icing on the cake: "The event is SFW, nothing NSFW in that advertisement." Then Asmongold proceeded to point out that there is a Discord link in that billboard, which has NSFW channels. Of course they then proceeded to tell "it's a grey area, and you have to be 18+ to enter the Discord."

It's tragic that cybering/ERP is still even a thing.

Just blow the money on a hooker ffs and slip her a few extra bucks to buy some rabbit ears.

That’s the real reason people are mad - SE has basically followed a “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy with ERP. Also, Japan has some really strict modding / data mining laws apparently as well. Some dudes tossing up some blatant ERP party ads using mods is basically going to force SE to take a harder stance

Anybody saying this that plays final fantasy needs to come to the realization that the game is more full of cybering and ERP than any game I have ever seen.

You have multiple discords that are just built for the sake of finding people and guilds that are open to various aspects of ERP.

You have multiple websites that are dedicated to finding a specific kink of your ERP.

Goldshire has no ground on the level of ERP that comes from final fantasy.

I'm not saying all this from some moralistic high ground, because I really just don't care about this stuff and I think it's silly that they are even taking steps to try to stop it. If the issue is that it's a legal issue within the country, I could understand that but if it's some attempt to keep their image clean for public consumption, I think it's 100% a losing battle. I feel like the modding issue could be easily solved without even being invasive at all. I feel like once they figured it out there's just going to be a massive bandwave inside their community and they really need to understand and decide if they really want to open that can of worms.

I feel like the modding community is pretty much keeping this game alive in a way that the company doesn't even understand. Any attempt to shut down the modding community would probably result in them losing about half their monthly subscribers.

Thing is, you can't make a good immersive RPG without people doing things they like IRL like sex.

May as well lean into it within reason, and given the clothing options... they have.

I don't care about ERP, but I find it funny that shit like this happens, all it's gonna do is force SE's hand when it comes too adding stuff into the game..

When the Producer/Director comes out and flat-out asks "Stop doing this, we don't want our hands forced." And they keep going ? wtf does that tell you.

And also it would be less subs loss then you think, there is a lot of console players for this just cause of how easy it is too play.

we have a few channels in a few discords for NSFW Pics. the amount of Erotic FF modding the gposer community does is insane. I have lot of catgirl porn in my channels.
