It is not open beta yet. Open Beta happens tomorrow. People playing now are anyone from closed beta, meaning everyone who pre-ordered.

It's going to get much worse tomorrow.

Popped a character on Gilg while it was open. Fine with either server - Gilg having players a month from now is definitely an upside though.

I kinda want Scholar to be my main, but if it's really that crowded in LL, I may put it off and roll a Monk or BM first.

I don't know why people are surprised they had a slight login hiccup at launch and that they throttled servers for balance load. Everything will be a massive mess of people in starter areas tomorrow, regardless of which server you're on.

Yup - also, complaints about general chat? I'd be shocked if it wasn't the same on every server. Either way, tomorrow is going to suck ass and I'm kicking myself for not reading about this before July 31st and pre-ordering then.... If for no other reason than to avoid tomorrows cluster-fuck. Oh well, have fun bitches.

Today is only for people who have played in a beta already. Tomorrow is just open, anyone can get on. The head start next week is for pre-orders.

I got to L10 in about hour of play this morning at 5:30am (at work now). Since the beta only goes to L20 this weekend there is no need for everyone to get bent out of shape over the login issues.

Just stick to Gilgamesh, it will pay off in the long run.
