I personally haven't encountered many issues with Gilgamesh so far...today's problems with the instances server being down is something that affects all NA/EU server so it's not specific to Gilgamesh.

The biggest issue seems to be creating a character really...there is no noticeable queues. It's overcrowded in some areas, but I only one has made frustrated today...and that was killing gnats and another mob in one area...it was simply horrible, they were dying in seconds and I couldn't get credit for the kills. Other than that specific instances, there are lots of people everywhere but it hasn't affect my ability to quest much.

The overcrowding is probably made worse by the fact that everyone was in the world...and no one was in instances.

Fate are completed quickly but I still manage Gold most of the time.

Whatever the guild does, I most likely will not be moving. I got 25 Lancer, 20 pugilist, and 16 marauder and I am not interested in doing the 1-20 content again. Did it in phase 3, and phase 4...not gonna go through it a 3rd time. Especially since there is really almost no issues right now that is Gilgamesh specific...aside from creating new characters.

I won't say that I am not a little worried about the 27th though.

People voted for Gilg because they were assured there would be no problem getting on here. well the server is fucked. And if people running the forum guild give a shit about people they'll call a reroll on a decent server instead of worrying about where reddit/half the internet end up. I'm, lvl 23 but I'd sooner reroll and play with Kreugan etc than stay with the retards struggling on an overcrowded server for the next few months.

maybe I'm in the minority but I'd much sooner be led by people who deserve to have a voice like Kreugan than fucking no marks who are trying to use this forum.

make the call and make it in the next 12 hours but don't be a selfish dick. Fuck early access, this forum is the elite of MMO players and could make a mark in this game for years to come - if people can get over their epeen.

Chysamere you obviously know you're shit and people will follow you, but make the right call and look after people or this guild will be dead before it starts.

Late edit so I'll add one more thing. I am looking after people. I'm looking after the 140 people who have put anywhere between 1-50 hours already into the game on Gilgamesh. I volunteered to run the guild because no one else wanted to. We have long time FoH regulars such as Vorph, Adam and Sean as officers. I have to balance the needs of the minority (who aren't on Gilg by their own actions) vs the overall health and it would kill the guild far, far faster to try to get everyone to abandon their characters and move elsewhere than to have the stragglers take some extra time to join us.

Again you will find from the testimony of people like Tuco and Pyksel that once I am committed to a group of people there is no-one who will keep their mouth shut and work for a group of people more than me. But we are talking about a couple of days work vrs the next few years of trying to beat the rest of the internet. Chrysamere I think you can lead us to something special. But for fuck sake don't ignore the opinion of people like Kreugan.

The queues for character creation on Gilgamesh WILL go down over the next few days because people will be filtering out of those early starter areas.

That shit has been literally jammed packed to the gills. I'm not here to lecture you guys because I understand your frustration completely, but I want to make sure you understand that even in game, you'd be frustrated as shit right now, there are quests with one little 50 foot circle of mobs that spawn, quests that EVERYONE in a region has to do, and you basically have to stand there and fight for every mob spawn at times just to complete quests. Then you get to a bottleneck quest that requires an instance and the instance servers are down. Now you're either grinding fates, doing boring crafting shit, or burning excess leve quests that you'd be better off saving to help level your off classes and crafting shit.

I know getting to play is better than not getting to play, so even saying this isn't going to be satisfactory to you, but I thought it should be made clear. The whole thing is an exercise in frustration right now.

It can really help to complete quests, if rather than trying to tag everything, you invite as many people around you as you can into a group. If anyone tags you get it, or if the group as a whole does 30% you get it. It's the only way to complete some of the quests right now. I know, having to co-operate on a MMO is alien, but we can adapt!

If you're using that argument, then can't you just play somewhere else for a few days while it clears up and then reroll on Gilgamesh? That way it's only the few people who can't get on that are rerolling vice the entire 100+ FC that's already established.

Best thing, invite 8 random people and usually gets done quickly. If you try to sit there as 1 person or even 2, going to get so frustrated. Also its really not that important. Unless its a story quest, its a few k exp(less then one fate). I quit that stupid mongrel one in East than because no one would group and it was 3.6k exp, I was like fuck that.

Dude, take my approach. I was screwed by the EU / NA thing and my beta account didn't transfer with my purchase code, so I'm dicking around until I get a spot open on Gilgamesh. What's the fucking hurry? Just have fun with it yo.

Again I can log in and play just fine. I'm looking at the people on the forum who can't get into Gilg and the greyed out names who can't/aren't logging in. (50% of members not logged in since live ?) People seem to find it hard to believe that people can look at it from other viewpoints bu their own but hey that's me.

OR people have lives and logged on quickly for live and got in the LS/FC and haven't been on since. Also, it isn't like the servers have been up constantly...

Chiming in to say Gilgamesh has been great. Tons of people online in the company, katya's doing a great job and absolutely hilarious server community. Shit's going to happen regardless of what server got picked. The few people calling for a reroll have got to be trolling. Some of you have already got a character on Gilg and you can't honestly think an attempted reroll wouldn't fragment the company way more than having a very small minority of people have to wait a couple days that didn't give a fuck enough to make a character during beta 4.
