Umm I think its a bit more than 200K. They had almost250K concurrentpeople playing when their shit took a dive. Considering only like 1/3 to 1/5th of the peeps are on at any given time, well you do the math.

Not saying its an excuse because they did fuck up underestimating the popularity of the game, but come on.

All they had to do was not screw up the Mog Station launch, and still call it a success. Instead they've had 80k NA/EU tickets in the last 4 days, the majority of them likely the service account issue.

my god....this has to be one of the worst launch in the history of MMO....

If you're in game I think you're fine. I'm pretty sure that instead of having the login servers even get pounded by people trying to get on, they just turned the NA list finder off for some people. Weak.

Well, I'll be honest, I was pretty angry earlier but I can forgive them.

I'm just happy we have a decent game worth looking forward to after all the launch issues get worked out.
No I'm not refunding my game (l0l).

While I've been bitching as much as anyone about their idiocy of the 1017 and lack of communication,

starting down the "this is the worst mmo launch" road is a wee bit outside the realms of reality.

I mean , Anarchy Online , Vanguard , and let's start down that list don't even have this one in the same league as them.

250k concurrent isnt that impressive in 2013. They should have planned for at least 500k to 1 million. And thats 250k worldwide that broke their shit not just US/EU. That is inept at best. And I gave these guys all the credit in the world for manning up and saying their first game sucked and fixing it. Not being able to play a game I payed for is unexcuseable. I get 1017 all the time no matter what time of day it is. 7am, 10am, 2pm, 5pm. I can only get on after 9-10pm PST. That is unacceptable. I vote with my wallet.
