Syia I assume you're Cat? Believe me I dont think we're doing bad damage output =p. I just think bringing ranged > melee besides the limit break and if it was my guild and I was forming an 8m raid I would 100% choose a monk over a dragoon inside BCoB.

Thinking about it also Malakriss has a +1 and we're not +1 that could have something to do with how we saw our dps ranked. I dont know if you have a +1 which would make a big difference or if the text dude does. I know we have to dodge the lasers and cannons while Malakriss barely has to move. More uptime = more dps however you chop it up.

The only "god damnit" moment where a black mage's dps will severely dip is when we have no thundercloud proc, swiftcast is down, and we have to do the 3.5 cast to reapply Thunder III. This is also why we try to pre-cast a second of two of thunder at the start of a fight since it's 3.5s T3, Swiftcast GCD, Quelling Strikes + instant F3 GCD before we even start doing Fire I casts. That does give the tank time to roll through the first combo to get aggro, however.

Yes, I'm +1 with full darklight and I interrupt F1 casts to use Firestarters.

You should only be casting Thunder III with thundercloud, otherwise you use Thunder II. Swiftcast should be used for Fire III only.

Whew that makes sense, the garuda to epic jump would explain then why Tale Spin and I are behind you then.

There is no advantage to using swiftcast on Fire 3 when switching from ice to fire cycle with the 50% reduction in cast time. Thunder II TC procs are a 45 potency loss and at 5% it's very rare to get refresh chains to continue T2 T3 T3 ...

Also run the risk of not getting the second regen tick to full mana with T2 sometimes. Due to spell travel time it's possible to get the non-swift Fire 3 cast off, still get a regen tick up to full and get a cast time reduction on the first Fire I before it registers the switch.

But since I'm too stupid to let it go, I was right in line with where I was supposed to be with the class I was playing and the gear I had. You have no fucking perspective because you played a different class and always had the most gear of the whole goddamn guild. If we both played hunters and had comparable gear and you were blowing me out of the water then fine, you can shit talk. But we didn't, so you have no fucking basis for comparison and should shut the fuck up. *I* knew where my dps was and where my gear was vs others of the same class. You can't sit there and argue that you had any clue about those things.

I'll tell you things I didn't do to help my performance. I didn't race change, and I didn't change up my shitty tradeskills, and I didn't drop thousands of gold to put the best enchant on a dungeon weapon. Everything else I was doing everything I could do.

B-team, fuck you, we weren't Vodka. When my playtime was spotty, sure. But it wasn't like there were 25 people playing 23 hours a day whose spot I was stealing. The rotation is Thunder II > SC > Fire III > Fire I until 20% mana > Blizzard III > Thunder II rinse and repeat.

Thunder III on Thundercloud and always use Fire III on Firestarter right away.

Once SC is off cooldown use it on Thunder III.

The objective is to get the initial damage rotation off as quickly as possible.

And attitudes of people like you are why we couldn't compete for shit in WoW. You never played as well as you could, that's a load of crap. We carried so many fucking people who totally half-assed shit, most of them terrible EQ players. We went from getting nearly every single world first in EQ to being a mid-tier guild with maybe a dozen good players max at any given time and I sure as shit resent the fuck out of that and you were a contributor.
