PS3? I know on PC the only problem I've had is a slight delay on enemies popping up with 100+ players on screen, but even that wasn't horrible.Just got up and running with my Gladiator on Midgar. The lag is terribleTakes a few minutes for quest NPCs to load.
PC. The starting town for Guardian is laggy. Takes NPCs sometimes 20-30 seconds to even show up, and FPS dips down to a good 15. Asked around, it has little to do with my dual core. Got a GTX 650 TI, which runs the game just fine outside of towns. But towns from what I've heared are more CPU heavy.
Otherwise, loving the game so far.

I gotta say its small right now but I think the point in the future is to either build it up or xfer over to the main guild on gilg. But you can hit one of us up. Name in game is Waldo Marshall but I wont be on until later tonite around like 10 -11 pm est.

Just got 90kd at Odin event. Followed by 1016, unable to load world. I am Norwegian, Odin why you do this?
That was hilarious. They need to auto-disable pets or something because I just saw a giant chocoboswarm before the game crashed

I don't know about that.. haha Sure there will be drop off and lets face it, everyone has their own cup of tea but plenty of people are already discussing the game and the upcoming updates.
It is still too early to tell. My advice is just get with friends where ever, enjoy the game, take it slow, and we'll probably all meet up somewhere in the end.
I had weird issues with not taking damage. I know I was inside the red AE dome, but from start to when I crashed (odin seemed to be at 45ish %) I took no damage no matter where I stood. Kept seeing people go LD and coming back. Abilities started but not activating. Odin and everyone else kept popping in and out, unable to res anyone in my group, unable to target them as they popped in and out.
Also, please fix targeting filters for the controller, or at least take mini pets off target lists. Why would you ever want to target a non combat pet anyways? Especially others.

Final Failtasy am I right.
Even through the login errors, myriad of banal FATES, the threadbare max level content and the many epeen lvl 9000 poopsock bros getting so krunk over gear, I am still compelled to keep playing this game. For the life of me I cannot put my finger on and own it; the closest thing I can come up with is that it feels like a Voltron of all the final fantasies but played with friends and bros. The aforementioned horseshit though, crushes that hypothesis handedly.
