Sadly, until beta 3 is in full effect, we won't be seeing a whole lot of meaningful news.
There's a smattering here and there, but for the most part anything we get is a reiteration of something SE previously stated.

Aren't the launch adopters getting a reduced sub price as well? I seem to recall hearing something to that effect... I knew I should've picked up one of those bargain-bin collector's editions I kept passing up

Not launch adopters, no, only people that took advantage of the Legacy program, ie: paid for 90 days after the program was announced.

For those who don't want to wait for their FF kick, FF11 launched an expansion yesterday. Buying the complete box gets you a couple of gear items that make levelling each job to 30 a piece of piss, you could probably do it almost ungeared other than those and a weapon!

?25 is a lot nowadays though, especially with you still only getting one char without paying for more. However I had a good run in it a year or so ago, if you can find an active shell you can have quite a lot of fun for a month or three.http://store.steampowered.com/app/230350/

Yeah you have to click Pricing button, can't link it directly at least that's the same link as above. You can pay 13$ a month if you don't mind only have 1 char slot, or you can pay 15$ a month for 8char slots, and if you buy more 3months it's 14$ for 8char slots and 6months is 13$ for 8char slots. Along with the reduced box price I gotta say I kinda like that sort of pricing. It's still a monthly sub but eh.

Was expecting a september release, what a pleasant suprise. Might just spring for the CE box on this one.

That Behemoth Barding is so cool looking, love it! I pre-ordered the physical CE for PC and a regular PS3 version.

CE box looks nice. Wonder if they'll announce a PS4 version at E3.

Still pretty turned off by that sub. They need to do some kind of discount for people with Playstation Plus.
