I actually downloaded this and gave it a try. Not only is the 'tutorial' confusing as hell if there even is one, but they throw the whole '1 year ago >>>> its now present day!' confusion. And I don't know what my weapons do, I hit Q by accident and it switched to a random 2nd weapon.... and my female character is missing a pant-leg. Odd game!

Apparently public release is at the end of July.
(I am pretty sure I am going to play this with my nephew. Gotta love the free to play part, and he is a teen age FPS monster.)

I'm surprised they didn't go bankrupt yet. That game has been rewritten at least 5 times.

Yea, apparently they had someone incapable of handling criticism from the unwashed masses, among other things. He's gone. Development might actually be on a good track now, but it's hard to tell. There is a bit more to do now than there was. There are supposed to be instanced raids now or soon, but I only get my info from my bro. I haven't played in like six months.

Firefall has a lot more PvE aspects that often get overlooked. I got around to reinstalling it and I'm playing it again at the moment. Only been in for a few hours and I'm really enjoying the improvements since I first played. They even managed to improve the crafting system which was pretty decent at the time.

That's only for consoles and I simply wont play FPS games on a console... My thumbs don't work that way.

I think I'm gonna pass on Global Agenda, as all the game play I've seen so far is extremely bland and unexciting to me. Firefall appears to have more polish and variety in its content. I might be wrong, but its not long before its public and I'll find out.

I just spent about an hour playing Firefall... And its good.
I am not sure how much I will play it when not doing so with my nephew though. Its a bit to twitchy for me and my eyeballs can't take that kind of action for long without giving me a splitting headache.
