I'll probably cross realm play, maybe transfer. Have druid/shaman(horde), paladin(alliance) options at 100 with warlock almost 100. Could also finish leveling my priest/hunter to 100 before expansion, or boost something new. So undecided on what class to play!

We had people like Sorrows and Tarisk that basically did 400x the DPS of the entire raid combined so it helped push people

I remember that, but it was mostly relevant to the fact that both of them had equipment that 95% of the rest of the raid did NOT have. Their trinkets and weapons shit on other peoples DPS. Combine that with them doing pickup groups and running with other guilds and it just widened the gap further. Not only in equipment, but also knowing the encounter as well. They just apparently had a lot more play time than your average person in Rerolled. The only time I would get above them in DPS is on Twins, Tectus and Brackenspore. But I guess thats one of the few times where a WW monk could go ape shit with EW&Fire and not kill the entire raid. Ie. Imperator or Ko'ragh.

lmao I'm not big on public humiliation but if someone else with less morals than me wants to...

I already forgot the forum name... But if I recall he was semi ok like the first time he showed and then it just devolved into a shit show thereafter.

LachiusTZ is who I hear it was.

He always acted so pro in the Everquest forums, I was surprised to hear it didn't convert to WoW.... then again, maybe he's terrible in EQ as well?

Edit: And in other news, I grinded my Hunter 96-100 last night, thinking hey, this flows pretty well, and is pretty awesome. Hit 100, bought a WoW token, and got in on an Archi heroic raid for the mount. (btw, totally not worth it, the mount is ass looking) That's when I saw 3 mages topping the meters, all fire, blowing the F outta Archi, and I was like dang, I wanna do that...

So back to 91 Fire Mage to see how that all plays out!

Fire must be the new flavor. PVP wise, Frost just looks like it dominates the shit out of people.

Plan on playing my mage in the guild. And wanted to do Frost. Is it really gonna be that worse for DPS? Looking at the artifact it seems to be a lot missing from the class right now.

I cleared Mythic SOO with Frost (last time i played my mage) and was 2nd or 3rd in dps. Always thought it revolved around too much luck on crit gear?

I can't speak for the beta, but I average about 10k more dps single target as fire, than frost. Shit just flows so well.

I do hate feeling like I'm playing the fotm shit though. Even though I mained fire for 90% of WoD.

I think Fire is getting a lot of hype right now because it flows so well, feels good, and is sexy AF! And who doesn't like popping off Pyro's like it's no ones business?

Just put a bunch of time into my Hunter, but dang if I'm not hyped to go back to Mage and start leveling it to 100!

Hype train boys!

I do like frost, with lonely winter(fuck pets). It just doesn't perform as well as fire.

It may be preemptive, but we could do a log of who we know is going to raid as soon as possible in legion? If we can decide on a night/time that is

For now I think you are better off just setting a preemptive time and leaving it at that, it can always be adjusted later. Plus I am going to guess if there are enough people with alts and shit it wouldn't surprise me to see a couple of different raids at various times anyways, then again you never know people could quit a month or two in as well.

Things always change, but I think that's a good idea after the first raid happens.

I'm planning a raid on Friday night at 9pm EST every week. Time is tentative and may get pushed back if need be, but more than likely that's what I'm aiming for.

Im also going to do a Monday night alt raid (or continued if the same people show) also at 9pm or whatever the Friday is.

Im going to raid lead and be a tank, it worked out well enough for us in wod. I have a few people I consider raid leaders or officers that also help lead the raids with planning and loot or class related stuff.

It would be cool if I had an idea of what people want to play but there's a lot of 'I don't know what to play' which is absolutely fine.

There have been a few that also wanted to tank but it's the one role where we can only have 2,so I'm suggesting people gear up their dps first. Whoever did end up co-tanking I'd prefer be someone with near perfect attendance.

If there's a way for us to better track what people are absolutely going to play I'm all for it.

Suppose I'll make a Google Doc tonihht we can track.

I think being on the West coast is gonna fuck me... I'm off work Sunday and Monday, but earliest I typically get on because of kids is 11pm EST. But I'll play until 5am EST.

Maybe the Mythic dungeon thing can work out if we have enough night owls or people on the PST time zone.
