Well, perhaps that wasn't convincing enough. So, as early as the days of all pick dota or queueing up for ranked starcraft before that... there's always random or psuedo random elements to games that arent the entire basis to blame your rank on. It's an easy trap to fall into, I've battled my way out of it to climb higher in my own experiences. I hope you move on from that kind of thinking and enjoy struggling your way up, or at least ditch having a competitive edge until you're actually ready. Trying to learn through failure while carrying a huge competitive chip on your shoulder is going to end in disaster every time. It has for me, and ive seen it too many times with others. It's a big skill to develop and way harder for some ppl than others.
As far as FaB for me, no amount of practice or success in locals is enough to win a major sponsored event. It takes immense dedication and I don't have that time. I'm also honest enough to say it wouldn't matter if I did. I've gained an appreciation for these kinds of people who can/do because they often shape the communities that help the designers balance their game. Dismissing these types as snooty autists probably comes as a conclusion after how you've tried to engage with them. Spend a little open minded thinking time on that.
