I like fresh cranberry sauce but when it comes to thanksgiving dinner I prefer the canned jelly. I think the flavor is correct and it's much easier to get the right amount of tart vs whole berry chunks. Take a little with the knife, spread it on the bite like butter, and enjoy.

That said, I'm not a total heathen. I don't serve it still in a can shape. I'll at least mold it with a ramekin or something so it looks somewhat appetizing.
