I like fresh cranberry sauce but when it comes to thanksgiving dinner I prefer the canned jelly. I think the flavor is correct and it's much easier to get the right amount of tart vs whole berry chunks. Take a little with the knife, spread it on the bite like butter, and enjoy.Okay, anyone else have this? My wife insists, absolutely insists that at thanksgiving there be a can of cranberry sauce in can shape on the table. I make fresh cranberry sauce, and she eats that, but there has to be the "can 'o cran" on the table.
